Why have the choices of PC cases been so terrible since the past like 7 years?

Why have the choices of PC cases been so terrible since the past like 7 years?

What are you wanting?

It's never been easier to make your own case.

What do you mean?

I don't understand.

Brb starting up my yacht.

What about a case shaped like Burj Al Arab? Because whythefucknot?

Microwave maybe?

Vroom vroom here comes some originality.

Don't kill me with fire

This is the only good case

anything that isnt this, or that has a window is for children and autists who need to get the fuck off my board

What the fuck do you want?

It's too small.

>I need muh huge gaymer parts

fuck off retard

Need radiator space. Nothing about gaymer parts.

Where do you mount your dual 360mm radiators?

You can't even see the LED's on your motherboard.

Why do you post such trash for us to consume?

what's wrong with the stock cooler retard?

Runs too hot.

Wrong, if you have the money go for caselabs

I don't like their quality or case design given the money they ask.

stop being poor then, why don't you like their case design? Also their case they make are top quality

Oh ok

>stop being poor then
Sorry?
>why don't you like their case design?
Designed around hdds and components that haven't been relevant for years.

>Also their case they make are top quality
Not really. They have poor fitment and the modularity isn't very great. Paint jobs are meh.

Can you stop lying please. Someone aid me here please

Didn't realize caselabs had shills.

aid you in what? they're shit

Features and airflow are better than they've ever been. Overall design and materials/construction are mediocre to bad, which IMO is due largely to competition forcing costs lower.

My backie hurts

Huh? Cases are way better than they used to be. Generally cheaper, too.

>guaranteed replied the post

Are you just mad that they design things to be interesting?

You can fit at least two 140x280 radiators in it.
What's the problem?

Eh, they're not interesting though, just different.

Caselabs.
Shills.

Lol, they can't even afford an ad budget.

being different is being interesting

No.

I need 360 at minimum.

Aluminum is a shit case material. I'm glad that meme is finally dead. It's way too easy to strip out the threads in screw holes and it does a terrible job with noise control.

If you like different Silverstone has some interesting stuff.

I want everybody to adopt the rotated motherboard layout. It's superior in every way.

Except for size, because of the cable cover.

I can imagine putting the GPUs in like that would be a bitch.

Enjoy dust

Is that what your mommy told you, honey?

Normies get out REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Who is the normie?

people who aren't different and special

>It's never been easier to make your own case.
honestly this.
It seems like nowadays your best bet is to design your own acording to your needs, unless you want some gayman, rgb, window panels shit.

>why do I want to complain about how much I don't like mainstream cases

Eh, that doesn't seem to relate to what was before though.

The statement was that different == interesting, and that's just not the case.
You're different, but you're not interesting.

>how do I lay the case on it's side
>how did I even find my way here with such low intelligence

I agree 100%

i'm surprised how many adults have windows on their case

>oh gee I don't want to look like a gayemer , I'm an adult now, where is mom with my tendies

The non mainstream cases are trash also.

man children are not adults

>building a case
I wouldn't even know where to start.
Do they sell build-your-own-case kits or something?

>That basically nonexistant gap between standard mid ATX and full retard ITX cases with no room in them
Why isn't mATX the most popular format?

Front panel USB C when?

Why?

Because it sits right in the middle of being too big to be a SFF. And too small to be anything but a budget board.

You should really be pushing for DTX motherboards and cases with 4 slots.

IDK why people keep buying ATX and mATX cases now that the 5.25" drive bay is dead. I can fit an m.2 SSD, a 3.5" hard drive, a water cooler for the CPU, a full sized graphics card, and still have room for another 2.5" drive in my ITX case. I mean if you have a lot of drives, or actually use your PCIe slots for anything other than a single graphics card, ITX is out of the question, but most people aren't like that.

My phone is USB C and more and more peripherals are starting to use USB C. Like the Nintendo Switch controller is USB C and that works on PC. It'd be nice to have one USB A port and one USB C port on the front panel of my computer.

Anidees AI 8 fits a 360 in the front

Literally perfection

Here

>buy sheets of metal
>drill holes wherever you need
>duct tape it together

>not building your PC case out of Legos

Because nobody buys PCs anymore, since smartphones came out.

So, there's just not much money to make in the PC case market anymore. Less money, less motivation to compete for a niche, stagnant technology.

>he didnt buy into the inverted ATX meme
