Job interview

>job interview
>wheels out the whiteboard and asks to write bubble something and something about prime numbers

ebin le meme redditor XD

You're Canadian, aren't you?

>job interview
>have to speak

>job interview
>wheels out whiteboard and asks to draw 5 dankest memes of 2016

why does reddit insist on spamming their shitty memes here?

>job interview
>have to provide evidence you actually know what you're talking about
>wahhhhh i hate witebords

I did one last week for a Systems Engineer position last week. They handed me a paper with 20 tasks, hooked my laptop to the screen the room and let me sperg my way through them.

>gob interview
>board thing cum in room
>draw big PENIS
>make men mad

>mrw i only know old maymays

>job interview for sysadmin
>ask if I will have to write programs
>"oh yeah, I did that once", shows me a bat file with a few lines

>call them racist for not using a blackboard
>get hired on the spot

>begin assertively writing binary on the whiteboard
>whoa, look how serious this guy is, he knows his shit
>hired on the spot

>asked questions
>make smart sounds and count
>shiny beads

>gob interview
>"the final countdown" starts playing

Why would you have to write programs as a sysadmin? Scripts if you don't want to do everything by hand like an idiot, sure.

Then again, Windows Sysadmin is a meme job.

Epic fucking meme, include me in the reddit screencap this is so epic.

I get that this is a new meme now but where did it start and is there more to it than I'm aware of?

All 400 threads a day about bubble sort and counting primes up to 2 mil.

It's just another forced meme by reddit.

Because dedicated operations jobs are shrinking and shrinking. It's now expected that alongside that position you also provide interfaces or scripts for developers to interact with back-end shit that they dont have the time to learn about.

It's not a meme it's just a bait thread making fun of a copypasta bait thread about whiteboard interviews

>job interview
>interviewers don't even know how to sort bait threads
>blow prime numbers up their ass until their eardrums are full of the sweet sounds of rainmans inner monologue

Well, I didn't really consider some scripting as "writing programs", but yeah, what you say it's normal (and even reasonable. Those dirty devs are not touching my stuff)

>job interview thread
>sum all posts to 300 replies
>bump limit in 30 minutes

>technical phone interview for Signal processing job
>called back with job offer 2 hours later

Any notable ones that might've caused you trouble?

I started it by posting a Project Euler question. I can't believe people are struggling with this.

You seem to be very proud that you learned bubblesort and sieve,

> Not knowing how to code it in brainfuck on a whiteboard
>++++++++++[-]>++++++++[-]+++++++++[-]+++++++++[-]++++++[-]+>+>->>+>>++[]]]>[->>>>>>]-[>+>>]>[+[-]>+>>]+[[-[-[-[-
[-[-[-[-[-[->+]>[+[-]>+>>]>[-]
>[-]]

xDDD

so just do the sieve of erastosthenes (whatever) thing and add them?

>cant even greentext properly

...yes

>job interview
>interviewer brings out hand for a hand shake
DON'T TOUCH ME FUCKING NORMIE REEEEEEEEEEE
>escorted out of building before the white board is even rolled out

*blocks your path*

Hahahaha peanus weanus

my answer is my peanus weanus

hahahaha

>hurr durr not the same as in my paper, not hired

How do you sum the primes under two million in lisp?
