hello lads

life's a bittersweet symphony and I'm the conductor

watching a streamer and his girlfriend is causing drama in the chat

I'm not an old man, I passed my test in 2007 and a genuinely did pay only £600 for a years insurance as a new driver.

I just used some sense and bought a car that wasn't expensive to insure. I think that's the mistake kids these days make, they should check insurance BEFORE purchasing the car and shop accordingly.

Small hatchbacks actually have the highest insurance for new drivers because of crash statistics (a lot of new drivers are crashing small hatchbacks)

But not a lot of new drivers (I'd wager zero) are crashing Ford Capris, or Rover 75s (I had one of those after writing off my Capri) which means the computer formula they use to come up with the price is tricked into giving you a cheap quote.

Also helps not living in a shit hole.

he just timed her out for 10 minutes lol

CRIKEY!!

Steal all my "remember when" stories from Peter Kay

had a few off once and forgot the code to the door and my log on

I definitely would have crashed a couple times if it weren't for my instructor braking

So how much was your insurance while learning?

I walked past a woman having some kind of seizure earlier. She was already being attended to by a bloke wearing the security uniform for the office building they were next to and a woman so I didn't need to worry about involving myself.

I do feel like I missed a trick though. A couple of days agree I found some pills (in their packaging) in the street. I picked them up hoping it would be something fun but it turned out to be medication for people with epilepsy with no practical recreational use (without risking self-harm). I still had these with me and couldn't help but feel they could have been of some use.

Then again, even if the fit she was having was epileptic those pills couldn't be administered anyway. They're for preventing rather than stopping as they happen. Still, I wish we lived in a world where I could safely leave them by her and letting emergency services decide on their utility without me having to worry about legal repercussions.

Funny how dead /brit/ gets when it's uni exam time

I don't think it's that funny

*laughs*

>All these mad cunts paying out thousands of pounds for driving lessons when your parents are supposed to teach you for free.

Wtf lads.

Did you know that in most of the world, including most of Europe. A learner driver is not allowed to drive their own car with L plates with their parents. They may only learn to drive in an official instructor car.

We have an advantage over fuck tons of countries and you're not utilising it.

reminder lads

ahahaha

just got a huge nostalgia hit from that

When I was 17 and taking my lessons, I checked insurance for several different cars and they all ranged from between £2000-£3600.

at work
you need a key
to open the front door, then you need to enter a passcode
basically, you need a key and a code to enter the building
the building being my place of work
in order to enter through the door of my place of work, I need to have a key card in my position + a series of digits (a code) to enter into the keypad on the door for it to grant me access

ive arrived too lads lol

Reminds me of a conversation I had with my own instructor on my first lesson

>how are you feeling?
>uh... a bit nervous, it would only take a second of no concentration and then...
>oh don't worry about that, that's why I've got these *gestures to her peddles*
>yeah... but your feet aren't on them

And later that day she said I was gripping the wheel so tight that she couldn't move it when she was trying to steer me away from a tree.

After thinking about it, neither desu.

Most I've ever paid for insurance was 700p

Is that the case? What a talented young woman!
