And I realized the producer (former IT guy) is wearing a baseball cap even when indoors.
I came to realize there are Americans who always do that. Baseball cap is like a second skin to them.
So my question is: does the cap identify autists or is it merely a national symbol? Is it polite to wear a hat indoor? Is this guy autistic because he is wearing a hat all the time?
Moreover, why do people in cinema often wear baseball caps?
Gavin Russell
I am aware the only autist here is me, the OP. But anyway my questions are genuine. I might be narrow-minded, but I need to know what the baseball cap means for Americans and what their attitudes are.
Liam Reyes
He's probably balding.
America does not have a strong sense that hats should not be worn indoors, or that shoes should not be worn inside an apartment.
Everyfucking time I have friend so friends come in I yell at them to remove their shows. Nigga, did you miss the whole fucking 3 shoe racks I have when you walked in? Why would you step on white carpet wearing your fucking shoes?
At the same time, I have friends who throw house parties and let everyone wear shoes cause shit is just dirty, and trying to make 50+ people to take their shoes off is impossible, and one fuck is gonna wear his inside, and then everyone is gonna be stepping on his dirt
Hunter Wright
>America does not have a strong sense that hats should not be worn indoors, or that shoes should not be worn inside an apartment. This is absolutely false
I'm from New England and the only place in America I've seen savages wearing hats indoors is California. I'm sure similarly trashy Western and Southern states engage in the same kind of man-child behavior
Jace Collins
New Englander living in California here, it really triggers me when i go to a restaurant and see grown adult men wearing hats indoors like it isn't disgusting behavior
Jordan Cooper
>Everyfucking time I have friend so friends come in I yell at them to remove their shows. Nigga, did you miss the whole fucking 3 shoe racks I have when you walked in? Why would you step on white carpet wearing your fucking shoes? Italians wear shoes all the time. But they hardly have carpets in their homes.
I have carpet here in Australia, and have conceived a system: I keep the carpet clean, but for the toilet I have prepared some slippers, like the Japanese do. You can walk barefoot in the house (I prefer socks but whatever) and put slippers on as you open the toilet door.
But no. Nobody gives a fuck. So they walk barefoot on my carpet, GO TO THE TOILET barefoot and come back shitting all my carpet.
I mean: there are fucking slippers and the toilet is, like, 1 sq metre. It is not hard to get.
And I do not get why it is so hard to comply. I mean, if I wanted my wife to wear a fucking Hijab in Australia nobody would raise an eyebrow because "muh cultural diversity" but if I ask someone to respect my fucking house rules, guess what? World might end, but they will never comply.
Juan Ramirez
The only time we remove our caps is when we sing the national anthem or do the pledge of allegiance.
Daniel Torres
OP here.
So I am not the only one to find this thing a bit weird?
What about pic related?

>Expecting anything less in Commiefornia You're talking about the state where shorts are acceptable in business meetings.
Elijah Perez
Literally wearing my Tigs cap RIGHT NOW.
Grayson Edwards
And do you qualify as balding, autistic or both?
Asher Morris
what's wrong with wearing nice cap? even our brown girls do it.
Dominic Russell
too bad we suck this year familia
autismus out when?
Jonathan Sullivan
It's mostly hipsters who wear beanies. Baseball caps are mostly worn by middle aged/older people. Like my grandpa for example. I can't even remember the last time I saw him without his Tigers hat tb honest.
lol none of the above. I guess it's just an American thing.
Chase Reed
Who gives a shit >getting triggered over trivial behaviors >wanting to control other people's lives Commies pls go and stay go, I'll keep my freedom.
Logan Gonzalez
>mfw my brother is a wigger and wears his SUPREME hats indoors
Brayden Hughes
I have another question.
What about pic related?
The Phrygian cap has a historica value. Not just the Smurfs wore it, but basically a lot of leftists did since the Revo.
But way before that it was common among certain Roman cults and I heard that even pre-Roman North-eastern Italian people had it.
My basic question is: >of all the hats and caps and berets I have seen coming from all ages and places, I have tried many and all of them suited me >EXCEPT PHRYGIAN CAPS They literally suck. You look ridiculous wearing them.
So, really, I do not get why I find them ridiculous whereas all other hats and headgear I have tried in my life is not.
Ian Collins
When did I say I want to control other people's lives?
Nolan Adams
This is next level shit posting.
Ryan Parker
>Baseball caps are mostly worn by middle aged/older people.
Interesting. In Brazil 80% of teenagers use caps.
Cameron Reed
Man, I am fucking serious. I tried Bramah hats, cowboy hats, headscarfs, turbans, tricorns, brimmed hats, fedoras [tipped and untipped]... I tried everything except the Phrygian hat.
Frankly it is the one that appeals to me the least... but indeed it is one of the most historical ones.
So this I don't understand: >Ancient people did things with purpose >Most gear of ancient times was practical >For example wearing togas is fucking comfortable >Same goes for kilts So WTF is the Phrygian hat about? Why was it fancy? What was its practical use (aside from religious shit)? >Brimmed hats are excellent when it rains and when the sun is shiny >Beanies keep you warm >Headscarfs cool you down creating refrigeration when in the warmest countries
AND THE PHRYGIAN HAT? What does it do? Make you look stupid? There must be something more behind it.
Ayden Lopez
But Brazil 2016 = America 1986 So it makes sense.
Adrian Myers
I was mostly referring to these posters.
Christopher Carter
it's an individualistic sort of trait
some wear hats inside, others don't
some wear their shoes inside, others don't
Jack Williams
This isn't uncommon here either Especially with normie runts and their bloody snapbacks
