>even more, I'm a tripfagging namefag loser

Wew. You ever considered suicide?

Thanks for giving me another trip to filter :)
Post link please

thanks

I'll need to see the specs and pricetag before I even remotely consider

>next year
Even your image says that isn't true faggot.

>AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Yeah because what everyone wants is a dongle trash can "pro" with laptop cooling that throttles the CPU to 2 GHz with the slightest load

>beyond this year
>after this year
autism is rough pal, try to take the meds on time everyday

>cornered
Eh.

We're still a year away from actual products. Basically what we have now is hope that Apple actually understands the professional market. And it sounds like they do, since they suggested that the iMac Pro wouldn't have a touchscreen, as professionals are more interested in "performance, storage and expandability".

>translation: I like to buy new hardware that isn't 5 years old

is it still going to look like a trashcan?

nah, it's gonna be a new regular desktop model with upgradeable ram/hd/cpu/video/etc. like they should have done a long time ago. People are gonna be psyched for this.

Apparently not. Seems that they actually regret the can shape.

Next year implies 2018 faggot. If it going to be available next year they would have said "next year", not "after 2017".

good, too bad good old steve isn't around to make it properly

>"cornered the professional computing market"
>currently less than 2% workstation market share

The real issue is that Apple's business support is utter shit.

They don't offer NBD on-site services like every other workstation OEM.

There's also a plethora of other issues with the Mac Pro
warosu.org/g/thread/S48233973

And I doubt they'll address all of them.

The market you are talking about is a completely different one than what the iMac and Mac Pro are in. Workstations are computers that are being used as sale points, by bank tellers, schools, etc. That's definitely not where you want to pay for a Xeon.

so the mac pros are for gay hipsters who fuck around in itunes all day long in starbucks to get maximum gay hipster cred?

got it

Nice reading skills. You could almost work as a barista.

pajeet stop posting

Mac pros are TDP restrained laptop tier computers and Apple displays are inferior to EIZO/NEC.
I don't see the market for Apple there.

so, AMD or ARM?

WOW!

MODULAR!

LIEK A PC!!!

INNOVATION1!

I don't see why it's specified, the current trashcan is modular too

If it's gonna be more modular I hope they add support for more GPUs to macOS. That would make building a Hackintosh just that much easier.

Yeah and actually encourages Nvidia to write more drivers.

IT'S OUR BEST YET!

YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT!

Please show me where the word "innovation" appears in the material under discussion.

Then show me a professional video editor running their business on a PC.

Thank you.

NO!

FUCK YOU!

Yep. macOS is a great OS (even though idiots deny it) but the hardware it's tied to sucks major balls. I wouldn't buy a current Macbook or any Apple computer for any price but if it was easier to get the OS running on your own hardware their market share would skyrocket. Though official support for custom computers would be even better. I'd be willing to pay for an officially supported macOS for my home PC.

>macOS is a great OS

JEJ!

>only April
>it's coming next year guys
>can't tell you when in the next year, so it could be as long as 20 months
>but it's next year, guys

Apple really has no plan.

It is a great OS.

I love these pics, got any more?

this, os x is fucking garbage. I should know since I was retarded enough to actually buy a donglebook.

Don't even get me started on the os x deleting your music gay shit that made me want to hang myself.

Explain what makes it great.

>yeah, fuck requisites like truth! It's much easier to sling insults because I'm not open to new ideas anyway!

well meme'd

>modular

So they are backpedaling on there failed trashcan design?

>posix certified unix with best GUI and font rendering, even official support for all major software programs.

>Commercial application support Linux lacks
>UNIX environment Windows lacks
>best WM
>looks great, consistent UI

You know what's worse? Being unable to move a file just because some process has the file open and you have to hunt it down and close it.

>professional computing market
they haven't cornered shit, the only thing they did was take a typical workstation computer and turn it into a small cylinder. Nothing more. Nothing less

No one uses mac pros in the industry, A company would and does buy real workstations for their employees and theres nothing OSX has thats needed that can't be done in another program

Not worth the shoddy hardware.

>hunt it down
just close the window dude

Hell yeah it is.

Nah.

Read
warosu.org/g/thread/S48233973

For people who want a machine for professional computing, there are many better options than the Mac Pro.

You know what's better? Not closing anything and just moving the file.

Wow... So it's like... a regular desktop PC.... with a nice display.... only more expensive..... so much courage

Wrong

Nope.

you know whats better? Not wanting to move your file only to delete it because you merged it into some shit

Yup.

>Being able to move files while being used
That sounds like insecure as hell fs.
I do agree better file systems could work a way to tell you what's holding the file and offer a solution (closing the program or copying the file and delete the previous once it stops being used), but I would consider your idea a flaw on any modern system.

>3 editions
>Cluster, Professional, Composer
>Linux/Windows support for all three editions.
>OS X support only for the lowest-tier Composer edition.

>no Revit
>no 3DsMax
>no Rhino3D
>no Inventor
>no Solidworks
>no Multiframe

COURAGE

No.

Yes.

Negative.

Also
>no Cadence EDA
>no Xilinx

Positive.

I can do this all day, you ready to just give up and agree to disagree?

Doesn't matter what Apple does, the only people who are buying Mac Pros are people who need Mac OS.

>Apple just invented the modular PC!!!

>nice display
Not really.
Apple displays are cheap dogshit.

>Positive
Don't you mean "affirmative"?

And, no. But seriously, yeah, lets agree to disagree :^)

>Doesn't matter what Apple does, the only people who are buying Mac Pros are people who want Mac OS.
ftfy

>using the smiley with the carat nose
Ah I see, you're just a shitposter.

>maya

I was posting this from my Surface Pro 4.

How is your tablet relevant to this thread?

>need to upgrade computer
>make it way more complicated than it needs to be
>spend years and millions of dollars
>fail
>make public announcement that you've given up and are starting from scratch
>your fans take this as good news and get excited

Modular*
*with select Apple certified hardware that costs like 2x as much for reasons

are you too young to remember ati cards for mac?

shit they still sell a 280x for mac pros and you can use a 980ti or a titan if you want.

I remember when they made a HD7950 version for the Mac Pro and charged 600 dollars for it

>Ah I see, you're just a shitposter.

I see you're just shit, fullstop. :^)
