I stumbled upon something, because the german army wants to establish a so-called "cyber-armee", so they try to recruit people similar to US agencys and big IT companys.

They have set up a bin-file you can download and provide sha1 and md5 to check them.

what the further steps are can be read if you figure out what to do with the bin-file.

Anyone up for this? I'm not interested in working for them but I'm trying my luck.

there is a shitload of .css, .js and image sources so it's probably a website?

has anyone experience with node --tls-cipher-list=val?

are you really that stupid?
try $ file das-qualifying--wie-gut-sind-deine-coder-skills-data.bin

tried that but das-qualifying--wie-gut-sind-deine-coder-skills-data.bin: Zip archive data, at least v1.0 to extract

oh hell shame on me

Rename .bin to .zip and extract it. The questions in the .pdf are quite easy. I live in germany but im not allowed to go to the army because i have a russian passport.

Well it's just the entry to a capture the flag organized by BW soooooo, lets do it. german here too

>Du
>dich
It's been years since I studied but have they pretty much completely abandoned siezen? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siezen#German

Well they make efforts to lure younger people into doing stuff for them. That's their tactic kind of. You could say that when a company doesn't say "Sie", they are shit

neck yourself putin shill

strings

as you can see its a zip... so just unzip it...

actually there are just some pdfs and 14 relatively easy tasks...

well the further questions are fun, but they're in german

Die Bundeswehr duzt

for the fresh and young feeling

Actually I wanted to apply, but they ask for physical fitness so they can fuck themselves. I'm not going to "hack" under enemy fire anyway, you just have to be fit to get thorugh the 3 months of basic training that you spend with people that you'd normally avoid for good reasons.

Do they accept US citizens?

Go drink some bleach, shit for brains.

No, only european union members

>german army
FUCK OFF ISIS!

This thread helps terrorists.

Have never done anything like this, except for the math and theory, so yeah, let's do this.

did anyone manage to get the secret message from the picture?
I think there are blue levels, but I don't know how to interpret them

do you refer to # 5?

class IHaveNoClue{
public static void doSomething(char x[]) {
nothingToSeeHere(x, 0, x. length-1);
}
public static void nothingToSeeHere(char x[], int 1, int r) {

if (1 < r) {
int i = whatYbuiOnt(x,l,r);
nothingToSeeHere(x,l,i-1);
not hingToSeeHere(x, i+1, r);
}
}
public static int whatYouWant(char x[], int r, int 1) {
int i, j;
char p, h;
p = x[1];
i = r;
j = 1-1;

while(i p) {
h = x[i];
x[i] = x[j];
x[j] = h;
j--;
} else i++;
}
h = x[i];
x[i] = x[1];
x[1] = h;

return i;
}

public static void main(String[] args) {
char[] 1st =
doSomething(lst);
for (int i=0; i

cucks

I opened it in Np++, there's an (encrypted?) message attached that doesn't seem to belong to the pdf.

I couldn't get any sense in it on first sight but I also haven't looked too closely.

*that doesn't seem to belong to the png

I also saw that but I don't know looked like some software just added that.
I think it's literally hidden in the image. Maybe I'm wrong

#9

output of this

#include
main()
{
int i=5;
printf("%d",++i + ++i + ++i);
}

endgame.com/blog/how-get-started-ctf

Thats undefined, r-r-rite?

sweet

thats all there is

#10 is a screenshot made with the gnome screenshot tool but the code is broken and I just broke it more. should be png

says 22 here, that's one more than I expected, but I don't know why.

i=5
++i -> 6
++i -> 7
++i -> 8

So they mainly want people who can analyze "corrupt" files

that's the original

funny, printf("%d",i++ + i++ + i++);
with answer 18 behaves as expected.

tested it too and I am confused as fuck.

Can anybody tell please if this is even defined behaviour?

yeah and one is a website with the password somewhere stored and you have to find and or decrypt it and you have the sys files of I think a windows computer where you have to find a specific users password.

so it's like 50% corrupt files (restoring) and 50% actual getting access

for #14 file output

file leet
leet: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, for GNU/Linux 2.6.32, BuildID[sha1]=741f40fb126889b224e969cc01860e948de86532, not stripped

is anyone still with me?

whats #4?

> spyanon posts link to files that are literally made by people that would love to spy on you
> everyone downloads them because haz to prove l33t haxxor skillz to /g

top kek, spyanons, top kek, not 3d chess but still, top kek

nothing wrong with that, I'm on my burner for stuff like that.

I don't think a government agency in desperate need for IT-specialists would turn one of their biggest recruitment stunts into a honeypot.

> get compromising intelligence on people I want to hire
> "Don‘t want to work for us, user? Hmm, what about the gay pegging porn you enjoy so much? It‘d be a shame if everyone would know about it"

better be careful than sorry, anons

Everybody here in Germany would love a government job, shame the deadline was the 5th march, or I would've participated.

yeah same. I thought probably if we work together we can make it. deadline is 23:59

probably it's just "home" ...

>Um am Qualifying teilzunehmen trage die Antworten zu den Fragen am Computer in den Antwortbogen und sende diesen bis zum 05. März 2017 um 23:59 Uhr per E-Mail
>März

you are a month late l33t haxx0r

Did I really just forgot what month it is? jeez

yeah. don‘t have to hide your get-data-of-neets-scheme, we know you‘re a spy
