Thats not the original creator it's just a patch someone has made.
Tyler Hernandez
thank you only this pops up: >bash: -si: command not found
Justin Price
Give up on infinatility. As people already said repo is dead pretty much, and there have been pretty serious breakage caused by it few months ago. If you are interested google it, but the point is, this repo is dead.
Isaiah Morris
This pretty much, I got it to work but it was rather difficult and you seem to have just installed manjaro so you may struggle. Consider installing arch, everything will be more difficult at first but yo uwill learn how things actually work. Also don't make threads for tech support use the linux genral
I don't know if Manjaro has makepkg installed by default
$sudo pacman -S pacman
cd into ~/Builds/free... $makepkg -si
Nicholas Wood
Maybe try using that command without a dollar sign.
Chase Reyes
Oh good god tell me you didn't put in the dollar sign hahaha
Grayson Adams
I didn't. I know that you access bash variables with a dollar sign, and makepkg will most likely be undefined, so the only part of makepkg -si left is -si, hence the error "command not found: -si"
I'm not that guy who wanted help on how to install infinality from aur.
Dylan Brooks
do you have the base-developer repos enabled in pacman.conf? None of this is gonna work if you don't.

>tfw every single distro except stock ubuntu has dogshit ass rendering and you are forced to copy paste some bullshit into terminal or hunt down random repos/patches
give me one reason why i shouldn't give up on linux and install windows 10 ltsb
Caleb Lopez
Get something with a newer kernel? When Infinality became deprecated in Arch, I didn't even notice a difference.
