Sleep Cycle apps

>there are people on this board RIGHT NOW who don't use a dedicated sleep cycle app to wake up at the exact moment in which you are most awake, therefore less tired

Always lame discussions, never suggestions of ACTUAL useful apps or software. There, I just improved your life a shitton more. Thank me later, faggots.

Jokes on you op,I don't use any alarm and wake up whenever my body is ready.

pls recommend, i bought a mi band 1 for this exact purpose but it sucks

see

have you tried it, does it actually werk ?

yea, it has replaced the default alarm clock for me. I have quality sleep each and every day

>he doesn't go to bed early enough so he wakes up on time on his own

a phone app lacks the ability to detect your sleep cycle

it would literally be guessing

how is it different than an alarm?

If you've got Android, try "Sleep as Android". There is a free version that works for like 15 days. And then you can reset it and keep using it.

You've got different sleep phases. (Light sleep, deep sleep, ..)
It tries to wake you when you're in light sleep, which is more comfortable.

thanks i'll try it out
i've been looking for a way to fix my sleep schedule for some time

how does it know if you are in light or deep sleep?

admittedly it isnt an EEG but it detects if you move and your breathing rate and wakes you up as you roll over

it'll do

the fuck, are you sleeping with your phone taped to your body?

looking at their website you put it on your mat somewhere and accelerometer detects when you move, infers sleep phases and tries to wake you up at the most appropriate phase

It's just time

Full sleep cycle is an hour and a half

So it times it

Apparently the app has a patent on the usage of the microphone, allowing for the tracking of your breathing while you are sleeping and determines in which sleep phase you are. Pic related.

> being this neet
some of us have to work

Tech illiterate guy here....are there any side effects of keeping your phone near your head while sleeping? Cancer? Brain tumour? Improper sleep? Some sort of effects from WiFi's waves?

>being that much of a luddite
You need tinfoil pajamas.

No, unless placebo effect sets in.

Sleep As Android is superior

If you're worried, put it in airplane mode. Can't harm to be on the safe side.
