If you've ever spent more than 5 seconds with one, you'd know this is entirely false. I have never experienced this. The AMOLED screen is so bright it overpowers any glare you may theoretically encounter.
I do dislike how the edges make holding it a bit awkward, but adding my Spiegel case negates it. It's a genuinely nice phone that's fast, beautiful, and easy to use.

Still one of the top performing phones on the market regardless of bloat. The UI and aesthetics are customizable. I don't see how it's a bad phone.
OnePlus 3t is way faster, doesn't have the stupid edge,close to stock ROM, no stupid glass back and it costs way less

here. got one last summer and i'm going to use it as long as possible. it's pretty much perfect and never failed on me so far.

They're all good choices. The 6p is just starting to show its age. The screen really isn't all that great, the battery life is meh, not to mention the unwieldly size. We're really arguing over tiny differences tbqh

I went from an S3 Mini to my Nexus 6P. Fuck small phones, would never go back.

it did all of my tasks without issue at first but after a year it's noticeably slow and I'm not a heavy user. it was never known to be a great performer.

decent at first but it became horrible for me and a lot of users about 10 months in, a widely known issue. vastly reduced battery life in cold weather, shuts off at 25% and vibration doesn't work in 50 degree weather.
mine is starting to get a little burn in on the screen where the buttons are as well.
it's also much more complicated to repair than a lot of phones.
not sure what phone I'm going to replace it with. I want this camera but do not want all these issues. Hopefully the pixel successor is decent otherwise I may go back to samshit or apple.

Mate 9 here. It's a all round better phone than the 6p. Despite the lower resolution I'd still rate the screen over my 6p. The speakers are louder, better camera, faster charging, bigger screen in the same size body.

Camera is okay, not great.
Weight distribution is shit though, it's heavy at the top, so it's awkward to hold it in one hand - feels like you're going to drop it.
