I do use Windows 10, but only as a dual-boot on my spare laptop. Mostly, I run Ubuntu on that laptop, but I keep Windows for the few Windows-only games that I like to play.
And the few times that I actually boot into Windows on there are fucking terrible. It's such an inconvenient pile of garbage. I'm about to just buy a fucking gaming console and be done with it.
Is there a guide to get Windows 10 for free?
If there ever is a windows keylogger leak then people will get access to my email account ,steam account and may be able to use some of the files i have on pc to impersonate me.
So i just gave up on it and now have linux with win7
slow as balls because it updates while I'm doing shit (yes, let's go do all this heavy disk access causing things to block,and then let's go force a reboot after X hours even though I'm still going to be doing shit), the UI sucks ass
had a machine with Win8 on it that got upgraded, became ridiculously slow even though nearly nothing was on it
on this machine I'm using now (with Win7), I'd use Linux... except wifi dies on it after like 20 minutes for no reason (partially my fault for getting a machine with broadcom shit in it), and I also mainly intended to use this machine for Windows anyway so I didn't think about it -- I've got three other computers that run Linux
there are literally Linux distros without GNU (for example, out of the box Alpine ships with neither the GNU userland or glibc)
they're generally pretty much meme distros, but they exist and are less of a meme than going around saying GNU/Linux :^)
