Do people in your country care about source of market-available products? Here in PL we have extremely popular smartphone-software called "Pola" that helps to make a consumer decision by providing detailed data about company.
For example i just bought "Lays" chips. This product gained 55 points, because it has factories in Poland, created R&D centers in Poland hiring Polish scientists, and pays taxes in Poland. The only bad thing about it is that it is not 100% Polish company but a subsidiary of PepsiCo.
I always try to buy products scored more than 50 points, including electronics if it is possible.
No idea, i don't drink vodka. But that's for example my shaving foam which collected 100 points because the company is based on 100% Polish capital.
Benjamin Ortiz
Germans were really butthurt about this, to the point when they made some news that we're so nationalistic. It's funny because I'm more then sure that they tend to "buy German" if they can.
Jace Sullivan
Yes, Germans are economical nationalists themselves, but they don't want other nations to be, that's understandable. Their economy is based entirely on export.
ah...good all Pepsico spreading America like the The Coca-Cola Company into areas that not even Health NGOs can reach.
Hudson Smith
We prolly got much more restrictive law when it comes to food and it's quality. You won't find GMO here.
Ian Howard
Good idea
Samuel Russell
>It's funny because I'm more then sure that they tend to "buy German" if they can.
eh personally i don't give a fuck. but it's probably not true in general. At least as far as groceries are concerned, the price is a lot more important to germans than its quality or where it's from although even the no-name brands are pretty gud here if not better than brand products in certain instances.
it's also part of the reason why germany is the cheapest country in western europe.
Connor Young
>You won't find GMO here. for now not that i give a shit
Hudson Cook
Protip: Pepsico is owned by Indians and the CEO is also Indian.
Nathan Collins
Interesting, hope even we get something like this in the near future
Chase Moore
Do you liek apfels? :3
John Howard
not my favorite fruit but they're okay
Jayden Scott
>made some news that we're so nationalistic.
But they're not wrong. Why the fuck are you in EU is you want to only buy Polish made products?
Samuel Gutierrez
That Polish inferiority complex is so cute.
Jose Rodriguez
Stul pysk z tymi jabłkami ruska kurwo, po chuj ciągle nabijasz tą propagandę, że Polska eksportuje tylko jabłka?
I bought a lot of Spanish products when the sanctions on Russia were enforced so that I'll help at least a tiny bit :3
But I often buy Polish stuff because it's just tasty, for example I like Frosta Mexican dish, but for 1 product like that I like 10 Polish ones that are just as or more tasty.
Take, my local producer, Iglotex(Olsztyn) for example. They make superb food so I buy it, the fact that it's Polish and local is just a huge plus.
Nathaniel Martinez
To mój pierwszy post o jabłkach, może od roku, czego cię dupa boli prostaku?
Aiden Butler
sounds cool, wish we had it aswell. Wish I lived in poland
Kevin Fisher
>Wish I lived in poland
Lithuania can't be THAT bad.
Grayson Ward
W-Wilno, Kowno and Kłajpeda back at once?
I-is this a bait?
Cooper Scott
Oh look, somebody was just talking something about complexes :D
Barely 300k Poles work in Germany, while having 38 mln population, if Germany was such a paradise, i think that this number would be much higher ;)
Justin Gutierrez
We're really poor, bls send euros, don't come and check.
Lucas Hernandez
no, we are too poor to have a choice mos we care about is the price, so we will buy anything thats shit and cheap
they are butthurt because you arent buying their trash products
Evan Allen
A lot of capital in Poland is owned by foreign concerns (mainly German and Portuguse by virtue of Biedronka) to the point that some call us neo-colony.
Benjamin Allen
Foreign capital is barely 16% of all capital in Poland. Compare it with Czech Republic or Slovakia
Adam Clark
Have you seen the difference in prices Lithuanian vs polish jesus christ it's like we make a german wage
Gavin Reed
Look at this fucking shit
Cooper Sullivan
>i think that this number would be much higher ;)
If more Poles were smart enough to actually get a job in Germany I'm sure it would.
Hudson Perez
Polish goods are really cheap and are of fairly good quality
Lincoln Peterson
By they way, our government and businessmen reduced share of foreign capital in banks in Poland from 85% in 90s to barely 45% in 2016
That's not even true but I will humor you for a bit.
Because Poland is still one of the poorest regions in the EU so the EU invests a ton of money in your infrastructre. Then again, all that money goes exclusively into highways. If you stray away from the major roads you'll find out that a ton of roads in rural Poland where the economy is pretty much ded are not more than dirt tracks.
Logan Sullivan
I been in rural Germany and rural Poland, the only thing i noticed is that our houses are usually 2x bigger than yours.
Lincoln Young
>not one source >opinions >lies Goebbels would be proud, Ocep Turkhan.
Jaxon Richardson
lol no also 1 euro used to be 3.5 LT
Asher Reed
Source: I've actually traveled both countries extensively.
They're also twice as ugly and run-down.
David Garcia
That's really fucking cool actually. I prefer to buy stuff made here, esp food stuff. You vote with your wallet
Henry Peterson
I don't understand why you are lying so much. Nobody here wants to live in your shithole, that's why your government must bring millions of brown people from other continents without even checking their IDs. You counted on "flood of Poles" and got barely few thousands. If you were as attractive as UK at least, you could boast here about things.
Liam Moore
I did as well.
Sure, western Germany is better, but eastern isn't "THAT" better dear Cenik Turkabad.
>At €29bn, Germany, Europe's largest and most powerful economy, put the most money into the EU pot last year. Poland was the biggest recipient. It received €16.2bn in EU funds in 2013.
>Poland receives more EU money than Romania and Bulgaria >Poland is LITERALLY shittier than ROMANIA and BULGARIA
Fiction can't tell such stories.
Parker Parker
You should check how EU funds are distributed per capita. Moreover, we get barely 5 bln euro netto / year, it is less than 1% of our GDP. It is a handout, EU should be even ashamed to talk about such sums of money. F.e. our new rocket system Homar costs around 10 bln dollar. We pay for oil and gas to Russia every year 20 bln dollar. It is really shitty money you give us, you know? Maybe because EU is poorer than it tries to present itself in propaganda.
Lincoln Brown
i never saw so much wykop in one thread on Sup Forums why couldnt you all just stay on Sup Forums where you originally came and just keep talking about janusz the retard
Dylan Jones
What does it have to do with, roads or "ghettos" dear turkroach?
Eli Young
>Nobody here wants to live in your shithole
The common Pole is simply not smart enough to learn the language of the master race. English is a lot easier and more suited to the mental abilities of the Pole, hence there's a lot of Poles in the UK where they make a better living by cleaning toilets than they ever would in Poland with an actually respectable job.
Jack Evans
> all nationalities present themselves in better light than they really are, including third world shitholes > everybody shits in Poland against obvious facts > let's be self-hating additionally
Foreigners scorn and hate our country more than you could ever imagine. Why should we do the same?
Charles Williams
Yes we have that too.
Especially with meat, many people here seriously believe meat from abroad is dangerous and full of hormones and they will not buy it. As a result on packaged meat you can even see the adress of the farmer where it's from now.
Oliver Nguyen
That's because your country is not as attractive economically as Sweden, Norway or UK where majority of Polish immigrants work. And what kind of "language" do you need to do a physical job?
Brandon Murphy
I know a few polack jokes...but why do people hate your country?
Jack Russell
>space after meme arrow and you didnt even deny you came here from wykop the napływ is real
Nicholas James
Do you have, like regional preferences as well? For example if someone buys food he'd rather buy it from his regional producer?
Jace Morris
I didn't come here from any fucking wykop, i simply don't like when foreign scum talks shit about my country and nation. I see this human trash everyday in my city in huge quantities, if Poland is so bad, why these animals come here?
You karaczarners are real cancer of imageboards because you only give credibility to these foreign animals who insult Poland
Logan Ward
I heard that you often do shopping in Poland
Nolan Myers
Yes, many supermarkets have a regional section now where they only have food that was produced in the same province.
Charles Williams
>i simply don't like when foreign scum talks shit about my country and nation. you realize you said that on a board where everyone shits on everyone else based on their flag, what are you even doing here other than spreading the news how great and happy our country is?
Caleb Anderson
I only demand from you to shit on foreigners, instead on Poland, that's all. If everyone plays this way with Poland, we should act the way they do.
Kayden Ramirez
Nice. When I'm visiting some country I always go, on the last day, to a market to buy some local food and take it home.
Dominic Howard
>gets EU monies shoved up their asses for decades >never gives anything back >hurr POLAND SO STRONG durrrrr we don't need EU derp
truly despicable
plus they got partitioned THREE times in history can't make that up
James Allen
We should drain as much money from the EU as its possible till it colapse
Jace Ward
>demand from me and who the fuck do you think you are
Brody Martinez
German products are garbage. The easiest way to spot an idiot in this country is to see somebody driving a German or American car. Why would you do that, except to pretend you're different?
I bought German razor blades (Merkur) and they were so dull. Now I only buy Japanese.
Lucas Ramirez
>>gets EU monies shoved up their asses for decades You are truly fucking stupid.
I mean, like really, really fucking stupid to the point where you have no idea what you're writing.
I wonder that if you can find a flaw in the text I highlighted, my raghead opponent.
Jonathan Moore
Best thing is to buy directly from farmers. Ask if they are slaughtering something the next days and ask them to put aside some of the best quality for you. Much cheaper than buying it somewhere else too.
Oliver Lewis
Well VW just tried to gas half of Europe with their cars.
Matthew Carter
>I know a few polack jokes
Guess who brought them to the USA. Poland is even currently a victim of global organized action of defamation ("Polish death camps" and stuff). We are hated and scorned by most of the world, without any rational reason. That's called polonophobia
Some of the early 20th century Polish jokes might have been told originally before World War II in disputed border-regions such as Silesia, suggesting that Polish jokes did not originate in Nazi Germany, but a lot earlier, as an outgrowth of regional jokes rooted in historical social class differences.[3] Nonetheless, these jokes were later fuelled by ethnic slurs disseminated by German warlords and National Socialist propaganda that attempted to justify the Nazi crimes against ethnic Poles by presenting them as dirty and relegating them as inferior on the basis of not being German.[4][5]
Polish Americans became the subject of derogatory jokes at the time when Polish immigrants came to America in considerable numbers fleeing mass persecution at home perpetrated by Frederick the Great[6] and Tsar Nicholas I.[7][8] They took the only jobs available to them, usually requiring physical labor. The same job-related stereotypes persisted even as Polish Americans joined the middle class in the mid 20th century. "These degrading stereotypes were far from harmless. The constant derision, often publicly disseminated through the mass media, caused serious identity crises, feeling of inadequacy, and low self-esteem for many Polish Americans." During the Cold War era, despite the sympathy in the US for Poland being subjected to communism, negative stereotypes about Polish Americans endured, mainly because of the Hollywood/TV media involvement.[9][10]
Charles Bailey
Some Polish jokes were brought to America by German displaced persons fleeing war-torn Europe in the late 1940s.[4] During the political transformations of the Soviet controlled Eastern block in the 1980s, the much earlier German anti-Polish sentiment—dating at least to the policies of Otto von Bismarck and the persecution of Poles under the German Empire—was revived in East Germany against Solidarność (Solidarity). Polish jokes became common, reminding some of the spread of such jokes under the Nazis.[11]
Leo Carter
>I see this human trash everyday in my city in huge quantities, if Poland is so bad, why these animals come here? you see, poles are talking shit about the giant bad rotten west erryday but still 2,3 million of them is sitting there as immigrants and for fuck sake we just have ukrainians which arent really that bad
Juan Wood
Oh man, I wish.
I bought some stuff from locals in Italy and it was great.
I always try to stop at some interesting small wine factory or something, when driving through Italy, and buy a bottle or two.
Julian Gray
If you knew English you would realize it's not a mistake but a figure of speech.
Also it's okay to be upset Poland. Don't hold back, you can cry.
Jose Lewis
I already told you that EU funds are less than 1% of our GDP. It is not money, it is a handout. You earn incomparably bigger money on selling your shit in Poland, but thankfully it changes to the better now, because 75% of Polish consumers prefer Polish products to foreign ones.
Liam Clark
I don't know anyone of polish heritage honestly, people tend to mix in if they look white after a generation.
Noah Williams
yes lol and your cashiers started to speak in lithuanian because of that
Christian Anderson
>I bought German razor blades (Merkur) and they were so dull. Now I only buy Japanese. how many times folded ?
Charles Morris
>yes lol and your cashiers started to speak in lithuanian because of that
The same with Russians/Ukrainians/Belarusians. All of them buy in Poland because somehow our prices are lower
Brody Bailey
>i-it's not that I'm retarded and made mistakes >it's just a f-figure of speech Yeah. Sure thing.
Ayden Adams
are you implying that's a bad thing?
Connor Sanders
>several billions of euros each year >calls it a "handout"
You don't appear to have any common sense in regards to the value of money. Which makes sense since I suspect that you, being a Pole, don't have any money in the first place.
Oliver Wilson
No, i didn't say it. When we created a "small border movement" with Kaliningrad, it helped to improve Eastern-Northern Poland economically a lot. It was a region with highest unemployment in Poland and still is, i guess, but now things are a bit better there.
Landon Lopez
also funny thing in suwalki there are lithuanian advertisements everywhere, it was funny when I went there the first time also everyone there spoke lithuanian haha
Elijah Lee
I already told you that we must pay Russia 20 bln dollar every year for oil and gas, it is 4x more than we take from EU. Our new rocket system Homar costs around 10 bln dollar. Our infrastructure investments are counted in hundreds of billions of dollars. This your HANDOUT (5 bln euro loooool) is a joke if you compare it with a scale of our economy. It is LESS THAN 1% OF OUR GDP, around 0,7% to be exact.
Caleb Moore
>y-you don't have money, hahah, stuuuupid, pooor, baaaka, I just dind't make a few posts full of lies just to sound edgyyy >t. germturk Here, I even have a photo of your parents.
Dominic Barnes
They will understand how much we "need" EU after we leave it :D
Henry Gomez
after Russian annexation
Xavier Mitchell
No, I want to be annexed by glorious Nippon.
Hunter Davis
EU doesn't protect anybody from Russia, it doesn't even have an army
Jayden Lopez
>Here, I even have a photo of your parents.
I've got a photo of your grandparents.
Tyler Thomas
Personal meme experience is not source.
Eli Parker
You Germans never change. My grandfather always used to say that Germans are such a nation that is unable to live with other nations in the same country for a longer time and he always used to say that Germans will become nazi again. And just look today, how many of you votes for neonazis from AfD.
