Bye bye f.lux

bye bye f.lux

gn sweet prince

macOS night shift sucks compared to f.lux and this probably will too.

>you need to let it detect your location

I want to see Sup Forums's reaction now.

just type in a place near you

I actually could never get f.lux to work on my system idefk why tho

That's my point. You can do it in f.lux, but in night light you have to embrace the botnet

>need
Nope. You can put in a custom time. Only sunset to sunrise needs your location.

or you could just adjust your monitor you know

Compared to f.lux, it's pretty shitty. Then again, just about all the changes introduced are shit.

>transition time is hardcoded to a short 2 minutes
>they couldn't even let you fucking set your own timer
ms blew it again

What kind of amateurs work there? They fail at the most basic shit all the time.

Tfw there is a proper f.lux for ios but not android.

It doesn't have a gentle transition. It goes from off to on in like 2 minutes. Until it adds at least a 60 minute transition phase, I'll stick with f.lux.

>not using loonix
>not using redshift

f.lux asks you for your location too.

See , in f.lux you can choose to type a location instead

its made to be very easy, normies never even thought of reducing blue light, since they arent on their PC that long

>a transition time is complex
that's a pretty bullshit reason to leave out something so simple yet crucial

>Using win10
>Using f.lux

A botnet is not a father figure

what are you hiding?

i mean if its at work why should you ever have private loli-data to hide?

You'd be surprised at how many normies don't even know what transition means. Just last week I had to explain to my niece what the "fade on pause" setting on clementine does. IT FUCKING FADES THE MUSIC ON PAUSE.

>Work
>After sunset

Redshift is the best.

unplug

>I've never ever worked a job

>not using the best OS right now (low standards)
try and disagree all you want, but you know I'm 100% correct
so whatever puto

if blue light is bad, should I browse only red boards in the evening?

I never got f.lux, it never helped my eyes, just turns the monitor really fucking warm. I just turn the monitors brightness down.

>>I've never ever worked a food service or janitorial job

This

That feels when you realize that f.lux has always asked for your location.....

>not using Tomorrow for every board

Baka.

If you worked in an IT field you'd know that hours can vary, especially in 24/7 shops. kys

>dark by 4pm up north in the winter

Hahahaha

>using windows 10
Hi f.lux!

Yeah dude 24 hour SOCs and NOCs totally don't exist. The only people who do anything IT related code shitty python programs from 8-5!

>Being homeless
>Ever
Thanks for your opinion, dude
