Hello

Hello
I ask:
Where were you when Intel was kill?

I was digging their grave.

I was buying a 1500x.

You're not Jim "drag em down to the cellar and bend their bones like Uri Geller" keller

lol AyyMD enjoy being outsold by intel.

>implying

I must say I'm pretty impressed by the amount of reviews in such a short time, some SKUs already have more than that i5 which went on sale 3 months earlier and is a very popular CPU, it's also much cheaper.

>7700k outsells in total with a 3+ month launch advantage
No, really?

And in just a month, there's about as many 5 star reviews on the Ryzen CPUs as those Intel ones.

See how well the 1800X is doing even though the 1700X and 1700 are much better value? That's the halo effect, the 1800X is faster than a 6900k in a lot of stuff with less memory channels while using more power, the halo effect cannot be underestimated.

here laughing at and fanboys even though my computer as a intel cpu and amd gpu.

There was a good deal of demand for 8 core CPUs at low prices apparently, this pretty much suits anyone doing any content creation, production and even streaming.

I really want to do a full AMD build using the 1500x but I'm not sure if going with an AMD cpu is going to introduce compatibility issues with old ass shit like DOS games and such.

Is Radeon still a good cpu to buy? I don't have money for ryzen yet.

I think buying the 1800X makes a lot more sense than the 1700X.

You can't attach "value" as much to the absolute best. It's worth more by being the absolute best.
People are much less happy with the 1700X, paying $70 for no cooler and hardly overclocking any better. The 1700X probably should have been $350 or just not existed and binned down to 1600Xs.

>1500X
>when 1600 is only $30 more expensive and wipes the floor with it

>1600
>when 1600X is only $30 more expensive and wipes the floor with it

inb4 another mobo shortage

>1600X
>when the 1600 is cheaper, OCs the same and comes with a kickass 130W rated cooler

Get the 1600X if you already got a cooler and don't want to overclock.

Those are this month's numbers dumb AMDrone.

>Stock cooling
>When you can use the $30 you saved on an aftemarket cooler for better temps/OC

They don't OC the same. Don't be a misinformation spreading fucktard.
They're differently binned just like the 1700 and 1800X. You'll get another 100-200mhz on the 1600X for the same voltage as the 1600, on average.

>Those are this month's numbers dumb AMDrone.
I don't believe you. It says That no where.

Radeon is a graphics card user

I was posting from an am4 itx board.

oh wait...

>tfw waited for the R5 1600
>immediately regret it after ordering it

should i've gotten a R7 1700?

Nah. You did good user.

the only new cpus that matter to the average Sup Forumsentooman are
Intel: G4560 and Lake i7,
>huehue intel destroyed
Problem is here
AMD: R5 1600

Thanks to the 4ghz wall, all the skus generally get get in between 3.8 and 4.0 at reasonable voltage. The lower ipc and clock speed means you NEED the extra cores to get good performance, 1400 has gimped cache and benches poorly, 1500x and 1600 too close in price not to just fork the $30 for 50% more threads
G4560

I plan to build a pc, is this a good ram to get with a r5 1600?
RAM Kingston 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4-2400MHz CL17
It's currently at 47% discount at my country, should I go for it or should I buy faster 8gb ram?
It's at 79Euro.

It's this one

>Ignoring the R7 1700
>8c 16T at unbeatable price

Excellent for content creators, compilers and multitasking.

Is no coincidence that it's the first one on OP's list

It is a great value, no doubt but the 1600 is 2/3 the price and the only place you're seeing that 1/3 in performance is when fully utilizing 8 cores. I don't consider them an average user and if you need a 8/16, you don't need any advice.

Psh I ordered one of those as the first part of my build.

well fuck it i just bought it

...

Who else comfy with G4560 and rx 460 here?

>int-tel C-C-CPU
>b-b-being a c-c-c-corelet

>Amazon
Kill yourself u faggot nigger felching kike.

Look at it this way, you saved 100 bucks and if you feel limited by 12 threads you can always sell it and grab a ryzen 2 when they come out.

what a disaster.

I was in a whiteboard interview

it's got +2% on 8 cores though
are you trying to say people suddenly got 6900K for 1k?

Do you even know what those words mean, you insecure tryhard?

>Where were you when Intel was kill?
reading up on zen, shitposting about how the 460 refresh got a better cooler than the 1080 refresh and masturbating to fisting porn.

out of curiosity, did AMD go full based mode and made good reference cooler not just for CPU but GPUs as well?

yes, all reference models are "aib" style cards

fuck, is reference card worth buying first time in 15 years?

Intel was kill 2008 with IME, AMD was kill in 2013 with IME-clone.

If they're cheap and you don't want to oc much sure. Should be comparable to current models with no heatpipes.
>not getting the 8+6pin 2.5 slot housefire 580

>being a singlethreadlet ayymdfag

Why do you never learn?

hay guys if I dont game but need a fast comp for photoshop/excel/virtual machine shit do I get a 7700k or ryzen 1700?

>IME
what is it

Say it with me:

INTEL is FINISHED

1700

The added cores will help support your multitasking habits and perform way beyond anything the 7700k can offer you.

thanks user

RX 480 reference was actually so Overkill in terms of VRM, it was better than most AIB cards, but
>6 pin

InputMEthod

I just ordered parts for a Ryzen 7 and GTX 1070 build. I'm gonna install Windows 7 and Linux Mint on it. I'd rather just use 7 on this PC, but since I can't fucking get Windows Updates anymore I'll only use Windows for games
