people give qB a lot of shit for being honest. It tells you exactly what's up. it's not like it's doing something faulty.
when you see something as stalled in qB, that just means that there's no peers willing to send you data. doesn't matter what client you have, a peer will not send you data if its algorithms don't want to send you data.
the solution is to find another torrent. it has nothing to do with the client.
