Hey fellow Slavs! Make westerners hungry again !
Slavic cuisine thread
you got some borsh for me?
No. Move along
I like stroganoff.
why you so mean Belarus?
I hate fucking syrniki. I don't understand them at all: a fucking cheap curt fried and eaten with jam.
Yak. The only russian cousine I dislike desu, comrade.
Really enjoy those crepes m8
It's a bit different
For some reason, all of my food pics are desserts.
Still, here's a pic of actual doughnuts, not those holenuts that the Americans eat.
Good čobanac goes good with good lozovača.
Looks like golaž.
Difference is this has 4 kinds of meat and is more like soup texture
My favorite during my trip
...
...
Okay, so it's like watered-down bograč, then.
I love bread dumplings (knedli) with golaž. We usually have either those or polenta. And bread, of course. What do you eat with it?
>Krapfen
>slavic
lmao
palacinke

Greetings from the USA
Burgers
I will be visiting russia in a few months, what are some must try meals?
you're a fucking funny one aren't you
Wrong board, arent you the trap one? Or is that the other akfag.
>pączki
>not Polish
Bought some oreshki from the store yesterday. They're pretty damn good considering they're shipped from New York.
I would love to make some cabbage pirshoki but I've never done much baking outside of a few basic things.
whats a good slav meat dish?
Everything but kholodets tbqh.
Why? It's just meat in gelatin.
>gelatin
Shit just makes me wanna puke. I don't know why, but it's the one thing that just makes me squirm to think about. The texture I guess.
it looks like shit, but taste is good
Any dish like that I hate. Ive tried similar American, German and Polish dishes and they suck.
it taste like dog food
Damn son, just had couple of those bad boys.
Shit is so cash.
>Any dish like that I hate. Ive tried similar American, German and Polish dishes and they suck.
Ahh, nothing can compete with estrogen packed american burgers made from dog's shithole.
Forget about healthy, Polish, German and Russian food. Just eat the estrogen burgers goy.
I'll agree, they make bread chips (I don't remember what they're called in Russian) flavored like it with horseradish and they're good. But that texture is too much for me.
Try kvass when there. It's fermented bread, but very low if any alcohol. Homemade is better than store bought though. I love Russian sodas so also try baikal and tarhun. Honestly, most Russian food is great, just go in open minded.
Wrong akfag but Dumplings yummy in my tummy
...
Bird's milk.
This is my go to site for recipes for those wanting to get into Russian cooking.
Don't ever call me a Slav again you filthy hovel dwelling waste of air.
Ok fucking Turk
>mfw every turkish looking person on that pic is a serb/bosnian immigrant

>Bird's milk.
Lol. It doesnt named birds milk. This is Ptasie Mleczko. Polish traditional food.
I am looking forward to trying it, I have learned most food is good if you just go in open minded. Before I visited Poland and Czech Republic I assumed the food there would suck, but it ended up being awesome. Except for some beef tongue I ate in bolan that almost made me puke.
who wants some?
Unironically gonna make latkes for lunch today
Is this Chiburekki?
Best slavic cuisine reporting in
...
best one so far
it is not, see en.wikipedia.org
Russian/Ukrainian/Belorussian food is ok but it's missing meat in most dishes. You can hardly find good dish here which doesn't contain meat
...
Just boiled meatballs / frikadelki
...
>tfw my most favorite food which is popular here are not even slav.
Shashlyk, khachapuri and osetian pie like on pic.
>strudel

At least Ossetians are Iranians therefore white
>its an every austro-hungarian meal is actually czech episode

I love it how russian cuisine is basically developed around drinking
Ptache mlechko literally means bird's milk lel.
It's not like Czechs are a real nation.
What kind of bread/dumplong is that? I didn't like it when I tried it. Too thick and bland.
...
knedlík
We have a serb fast food in Moscow. It's called šek ćevap and they sell čevapčič, uštipci and pleskavica. Local serbs mess there pretty often.
Knedlíky and veprove koleno is the best of chech food.
>tfw nearest Georgian place is a 8 hour drive away
JUST
I eat there almost every day. Cool place.
kek yes I saw that when I was in Moscow last month but I haven't tried anything from there. The one I saw was in some remote mall, I have been there only once so haven't had a chance to try, although I wanted to
Bread dumklinhs
...
Yeah, it is the only one for now in Varshav metro station. There are actual serbs working btw. That looks like some sort of ethnic mafia tbqh lel, the same people come there every day and order food in serbian and sometimes they come with more people and they sit, talk in serbian and eating with the host of café.
>fried cheese
nobody tell the americans
Why? I don't get what you mean.
americans are fat
get it now?
I hope so because I'm going to bed now. Goodnight cunt.
>talk in serbian
hehe too bad I haven't seen any serbbros there
how does Serbian sound to you? My friend said we sound like Ukrainans talking gibberish
>tomato soup is Czech
wtf I love Czechia now
Like russian but when you now you are like just woke up and can't understand what people are talking about though you realize it is your language.
Fried cheese is very common beer snack in our bars, I thought amerifats got it too.
>looks like some sort of ethnic mafia
Like this?
Our bars have fried potatoes, fried meat, and nachos
...
Well they have better clothes
>implying Russians can afford anything more than raw potatoes and vodka
not bad
Looks delicious. I fucking love soup
l Can't find a good picture, but lentil soup is my favourite
Hm, at least that fried cheese should be in places like tgi friday's in America.
Mean, but kinda true
