If you can you should run them yourself instead of watching video captures. Especially the first Still demo gets completely destroyed by Youtube's video encoding.
We know why is that. Logicoma was still the best and that is not even up for discussion.
Andrew Morgan
this stuff is amazing and very artistic. weird how it doesn't get more exposure.
Jackson Perez
I thought this was an AMD Radeon advertisement, until I've read Farbrausch.
Isaiah Gonzalez
Still waiting for someone to explain me TRSI.
Oliver Edwards
START MAKING DEMOS
Owen Cooper
Just watched the Oldskool Compo. OverDrive 2 just fucked everyone and everything. I'm still shaking, because of it's awesomeness...
Asher Stewart
Executable Music starting now Modern Graphics right after that
Julian Martin

John Gonzalez
Modern Graphics was garbage so far. jesus
Bentley Scott

Easton Thompson
### SONG, PEOPLE DANCING ###
Robert Stewart
Now 4K Executable Graphics
Andrew Butler
Programming takes a toll on you. You have to be fucked in some way.
Christopher Stewart
No wonder it says "help" above the bathtub.
Charles Cooper
Will we see CNCD this year?
Carter Smith
shhh you will trigger knoeki
Eli Perry
DEINTERLACE YOUR SHIT
Ethan Williams
I don't even understand what the fuck is even referring to.
Carter Ortiz
No info on TRSI guys. We will have to wait till next year
William Morris
Being fucked up in some way is a requirement for being able to program well. Liking MLP is one example.
Leo Gutierrez
im a brainlet whats all this about?
Kevin Russell
back to sci pls
also you have everything explained in the op
Kevin Jones
so... you make a music video using only consoles?
pretty impressed desu
Adrian Ross
I wonder why does nobody make demos for 5th/6th gen consoles. For example the last demo for PS2 was in 2013 and before that in 2008.
Joshua Anderson
Yeah that was some amazing shit.
Michael Richardson
256b is pretty good this year.
Asher Powell
the idea is to use little space to generate visually (or technically) impressive results, you could never fit pouet.net/prod.php?which=67106 into 64kb but the code generating that video does.
Lucas Parker
wew
Jace Wilson
the compiled code does anyways.
Isaac Reed
pouet.net/prod.php?which=1221 FR-08 is the classical 64kb masterpiece. Consider that it was released 17 years ago, is a whoppping 64KiB - but is an ~8m demo with music, multitexturing, animated primitives and more. It was mindblowing at the time - just like most every good demo or intro.
demoscene is just mindblowing coding for the purposes of aesthetic products - it's Art.
Brayden Jackson
Why don't you, though?
Landon Parker
I'm trying, but it's kinda hard without the TOOL unit.
Gabriel Price
>Painting will help your ability to paint
Thanks.
Nathaniel Wood
I came here to post this. I don't know what the hell this is or what this thread is about. I thought the webm would be some 'leaked' presentation about Wega or some shit.
you don't necessarily HAVE to make the program tiny, but it's certainly more impressive
Kayden Martinez
halfway through i forgot that the music was being generated by a FM chip
Christian White
What in the everloving fuck ahaha.
John Diaz
>dat last demo whats the equivalent of Adultswim in europe? They should be on it asap
Isaac Murphy
The break is mandatory.
Jonathan Stewart
I just came to Sup Forums since bored, have no idea what i'm watching but i love it.
Isaiah Barnes
Basically just programming computer graphics art demonstrations within a set filesize or computer hardware limitation, such as 64kb, or on a Commodore 64
It's pretty great
Gabriel Mitchell
It really is. Fuck their site says it was going on since 14th, if true it makes me sad as fuck since i was bored to hell since 13th
Landon Cook
There was thread up since 14th with all this so w/e
Brandon Williams
Fuck then i missed it. At least i can watch today.
John Flores
You can watch the vods and all the demos will be shared later on pouet.net
Michael Roberts
Yeah, but it's not the same when it's not live.
Caleb Rogers
>inb4 normies now find out about demoscene
Zachary Scott
Same here. I've been depressed as shit lately and this would have been fun to watch the whole time.
Daniel Long
>4,307 views >tfw you realized that you are whitnessing the moment that normies found out (and want to eventually take over) demoscene
Carter Ross
It's fine. Being autistic is a requirement for coding demos, so even if normies become fans they will never "take over" the demoscene.
Cooper Parker
Good luck to Knoeki on his set. Guys see you all tomorrow morning for the awards, right now is 3AM and I have to sleep a bit..
Why doesn't Sup Forums make a demo to shock Japanese brain???
Ryder Allen
Leave the logo making to me
Tyler Reyes
He's the kinda guy that should replace rms in the sticky
Adrian Allen
What now?
Jayden Ross
Now you go make a demo.
John Baker
Prizegiving starts in 50 minutes
Isaac Martinez
