"Upgrading" from 2x980Ti's to a single 1080Ti

>Need to have a GPU that dissipates less heat (mATX workstation)

Thots?

Only one.

Sage

wtf it's a normal question?

Are you retarded

Get a 1080Ti.

Wait for the Hybrid.

that design is so ugly. just get a titan, retard.

titans have shit performance in comparison retard

wait for vega

>install gpu in desktop
>never see it again
Unless you have a gamer desktop with a see-through panel, how is this a problem?

Get a case that can handle the full heat output from two open cooler cards.

It's a fucking workstation. Performance is more important than keeping your tidy meme machine on your desk

>wasting money on multiple graphics cards

Why the fuck do people do this?

y-your ugly!

Anyone who has actually used SLI past 2012 knows that it really isn't a meme, SLI support is pretty solid
I still haven't moved to the 1080ti yet because my 980tis perform better so I haven't had a need too.

Just wait until the 1180 lol

>Putting aesthetics over functionality for a fucking video card

Titans are not worth it, the price gap is way too big for the performance difference, especially when the 1080Ti closes most of the memory gap too so any memory requirements for his workload are likely fine too.

>Being unable to read

Multi-card compute scales near linearly, there is no reason not to multi-card if you're using CUDA or OpenCL. It's not gaming SLI.

haha this nigga

the titan is a work bench gpu, where the fuck have you guys been? and the new titan that just released is better than the 1080ti.

>Paying twice as much for 260 Cuda cores and 1 Gaygabyte of extra RAM.

Are you a fucktard?

Rent from Amazon

>Not a gaymur
You should leave and not post questions about non-gaming stuff.

first off: install gentoo

>because my 980tis perform better
How??

Interesting. i think its the best looking card we have had in a long time.

way better than the last 1080 evga card.
