Why do North Italians hate the monarchy?

Why do North Italians hate the monarchy?

I think it's because they were more fascist and hated the king for betrayal

We're Republican fascists

Restoration of Fascism when?

Why would anyone want a monarchy?

>We are still Fascists
>in XXI century
of course

Because they are based.

>Why do North Italians hate the monarchy?
Repubblican tradition
More industrialized = more commies
More fascists
The king abandoned the capital to take refuge in the south, northerners took this as a betrayal

>Restoration of Fascism when?
check flag...ah

>mfw your country has no monarch

Does royal family still live in Italy?

yes

yup

>More industrialized = more commies

Communism took root in Russia, and pre-industrial country.

Is they still beloved?
there are any chance for Italy to join the monarchy countries club again?

But the Royal Family and the Italian State have a bad relationship, doesn't they?

So what? Historically the redder areas have always been the most industrialized ones.
Even in Russia the revolution started in the factories.

>still
They've recently been allowed to come back. They resided in Switzerland for decades after the referendum.

>Is they still beloved?
No. The current head is a literal criminal and his heir is a third tier tv personality.
>there are any chance for Italy to join the monarchy countries club again?
Top kek.

>But the Royal Family and the Italian State have a bad relationship, doesn't they?
Not really? The "royal" family is made of private citizens now, the state has no real involvement with them. Well aside from the head getting in trouble for pimping, tax evasion, drug and weapon smuggling that is. But I dare say they'd take issue with that even if he wasn't a Savoia.

ok interesting

the prince does trash tv shows

We don't hate nor love them, and there's no way they will regain the power in the near future.

These faggots were responsible for uniting Italy. Fuck them. Post-unification Italy is an irrelevant shithole.

Why not?

Shitty failed ideologies as communism are still alive in many people and fascism is a way better than social democrats.

>These faggots
their ancestor, not them

Just fapped to italian porn where a blind lady gets raped in her house

drinking from a cow tit is like sucking a little dick

Italy wasn't relevant disunified after 1600

>These faggots were responsible for uniting Italy.
Top kek. They were closer to blowing it than making it. The merit (or fault) of uniting Italy lies with Cavour and Garibaldi.

you tell me

Cutest princess

And alpha king

>American flag

Of course.

One could argue that the cause of the irrelevance wasn't the disunity (tho it didn't help either).
Venice for example was Netherlands sized, yet they fell off the map due to mostly internal issues and natural causes (like the pestilences).

That said it's not like we became relevant after unification either, and regardless the unification was done in such a shit way that we're still feeling the consequences. Cattaneo was right, Mazzini should have stayed in Britain.

>citation: america

t. erroni

If I immigrated to Italy, I vote for restoration of monarchy

too cute'n cool.

>I don't like the Italy unification

there's also the shifting of trading routes from the mediterranean sea to the atlantic ocean.

fmsu

No Japan, we don't allow shit-tier countries to join the Monarchy club, thus Italy's not allowed to join. Sweden and Norway - you're all out! Any Eastern European shitholes - you're out, too!

Its not like Monarchy is good, still hoping for the third republic here

That's actually a very overstated element, it helped others develop more than damage us.
Also by the time the shift happened, Italy had already been through the italian wars and half of it was under foreign domination, so you can't really say it caused the political fall.
And even after that, Venice for example was still an economic powerhouse all the way to Campoformio, tho all the ottoman wars fairly raped the national treasury and the cultural shift in aristocratic occupations away from trade meant a lot of wealth had become fairly stagnant. Trade was still strong tho.

Monarchies only work for God-tier nations, which is why you can't muster the true power Monarchies present.

Your monarchy is just figureheads. They don't have any real power. They're just there to look pretty and waste the country's money.

Unification was a necessary bad thing.

>necessary

Why? All the city-states were doing well on their own.

United Italy was necessary.
An Italy under the centralized and authoritarian piemontese government wasn't.
Don't let Mazzini meme you. Even Cavour (and Ricasoli, Cattaneo, Gioberti, etc.) thought a confederation would have been the best choice, but of course the political situation in the Kingdom was strongly against it so he couldn't really support it.

>All the city-states were doing well on their own.
Not since the italian wars m8.

They were all under foreigners country influence noone of them actually had any power.
Italy should have been unified earlier with federico 2 or cosimo de medici.

they were disihinerited, he is the king now

Italian wars? That happened during the Renaissance, idiot. It was the best period for Italy besides ancient history.

>city states
I don't remember us having city states at the time.

Keep telling yourself that.

Germany made the good choice
France did too.

fuck off.

Lel no.

You guys were cooler under a king.

Actually that's disputed, but noone really care though

Southerners also seemed to like fascism

the north fell into civil war after 43 and the king did nothing
(aside from the fact that he never opposed the fascist regime that dragged us into war)

literally mob controlled elections

because we suffered the civil war while southerners were scratching their balls under the protection of angloamerican forces

I thought his shirt was open for a sec. Kek.

>Muh squadrism

>literally mob controlled elections
I guess it also explain the high MSI score in Naples

they simply are always 50 years late

>It was the best period for Italy besides ancient history.
It ended with half of Italy under either Valois or Habsburg domination, and the other half economically and politically bankrupt you turd.

If it were up to me they would be still exiled.

>Germany
>Making a good choice
>France
>Making a good choice

actually laughed

no way

>Top tier
France under our beloved God-Emperor

>Mid tier
France under the 1st republic
the 2nd republic
the 3rd republic
France under the 2nd empire

>Shit tier
France under absolute monarchy
France under the 4th republic
the 5th republic

3rd empire when

I wonder why most liberalized countries (Holland, Sweeden and so on) keep monarchism

i also wonder why Japan keeps a useless emperor.

Can't speak for either Holland nor Sweden, but the only real reason we keep our royals around is because we actually chose to have them after our independence. However embarrassing and useless they may be, getting rid of them would be admitting we made a mistake when setting up our whole system of governance. As you can probably imagine, that's not really ideal, it's got to be said.

He was always useless. The shogunate was the real deal.

to be honest, Savoia were bad monarchs. Maybe because they weren't monarchs in the first place, they were king only because they bought the kingdom of Sardinia

They had no traumatic happening which made them abolish the monarchy, unlike other nations in Europe.

Because they were always liberal so they didn't have any revolutions to get rid of their king. Nowadays there's not really any point in getting rid of your monarch if you're a 1st world country

tell em about italians, why are they brown

Tbh I'd also be in favour of keeping alive a 1600 to 2600 years old institution, deposing it would be like tearing down the Colosseo: minimal gains for gigantic losses in tradition.

>bought
wut

We share ancestry with Angloids.

desu, Emperor has been useless these 1000 years.
He has been an idol or a pop star, and we had loved him.

>why are they brown
The sun. Not a big fucking mystery, is it?

that guy looks dago as fuk

>they were king only because they bought the kingdom of Sardinia
Bought it? They were forced to swap Sicily for Sardinia after the war of the spanish succession.

This map is a complete fucking shitshow, whoever designed it should be chemically castrated desu

He's 100% British. So is this guy.

then why Norwegian under the sun become orange at best?

He really doesn't, like at all. Those facial features are extremely different from the average italian face.
You only think it looks italian because you see brown and you're trying to force the point that italians are brown.

>Marsala: so named from Arabic marsa Ali ‘port of Ali’.

lmao, there are italian cities named after arabs

Did you miss him saying after 1600? Ofcourse Italy was important during the renasaince which this includes.

post patrician italian states

>london
>londinium
Lmao, we named your cities

genoa ancestry reporting in

this will totally not turn into a shitfest at all

Not him, but dago means a spaniard. Wop is an Italian

It's no secret that Sicily was conquered by Mudslimes once. They aren't part of Italy though.

Lack of melanin. It's not uncommon to take supplements, actually.

>Colchester
>from Colonia and Castra
You're just as cucked.

dago is interchangeable with any southern european

We use the word "paki" as an offensive term for english.

...

every single -chester is *name* + castra

english merchants helped Christianise Marsala by exporting it's wine

Yes but usually the non castra part comes from a local word. Colchester on the other hand is 100% cucked, since the col comes from colonia.

>UK

>capital founded by wops
>currently ruled by a literal paki

can't make this shit up
