Wow you mean the services on your system are working when higher priority threads aren't running? Who the fuck would have guessed

GNU/Linux doesn't have this problem.

>move mouse

for me

doesn't even matter what usb port I use or which of the two headphone ports

Lmao thread scheduling isnt "a problem" and Linux 100% does do it

It didn't take virus levels of cpu to do it in Linux

>browsing cp
>pop up window
>FBI knows

>computer starts beeping out of nowhere, three short beeps, three long beeps, three short beeps

???? The scheduler isn't wasting cpu, it's a service on your system. Svchost is just how services gain execution, it's whatever service they're running that is 20% CPU, not necessarily from windows
That's like running Apache as a service on Linux and it using 20% cpu and saying wtf Linux is broken

i vaguely remember as a kid going on a murder spree on morrowind and the game crashed with this weird spooky message.

>long running kernel processes spinning for no apparent reason is not a bug.

u wut?

what in the fuck is the kernel doing that it's stuck running, pinning a whole cpu to itself for long periods of time?

Services are ring 3 not ring 0

Why don't you answer it's calls for help user?

Get something with EMI Shielding or use an external DAC, you don't need anything hyperautistic, but you probably don't want chink shit either...

what did it say user?

That's not really the point of this thread or my original post on svchost tho. I wasnt knocking windows, just the fact that if services are running like that it's likely you have a virus. That's the point of this thread, weird anomalies that imply you could have a virus.

yo I use that same sony vegas pro 8.0 download to do video editing weekly. I have since high school. one of the best programs I've ever stolen.

>Go to website A.

Say what?
Alright, you're gonna have to explain this one to me.

Programs are separated from the NT kernel. This is so that even if shit freezes, Windows prioritizes mouse movement, your keyboard, and ctrl+alt+del. Sending ctrl+alt+del forces the screen for ctrl+alt+del (which I can't remember what it's called) up at the highest priority. Just doing ctrl+shift+esc would mean that signal is sent, but you'd have to wait until processes start to die down before task manager loaded. And at that point, you wouldn't really need it.

Basically, NT kernel puts ctrl+alt+del on priority, not ctrl+shift+esc. If shit freezes, ctrl+alt+del will work better.
