Using a shell other than bash

>using a shell other than bash
why??

special snowflake status

Because GUI is superior.

because my distro has something else as default

meme distro

What distro is this?

Because bash is shit and zsh is master race

because csh exists

Until it breaks and no graphical error is programmed to tell you why it fucked up.

shell hipsterism.

There's a new shell that my instructor, who is the CEO of a Android and iOS company, suggested. It's called FISH - Friendly Interactive SHell

i use fish because i'm a faggot.

Because Powershell is better. If you disagree you haven't used it.
>inb4 Microshit
It's open source dipshit

zsh has the best completion support.

Literally the only reason I use it, I don't like how its incompatible with bash.

If you think that, you haven't used bash enough.

It may be open source but its a closed ecosystem that runs on a proprietary OS that nobody uses for the things they are designing powershell for.

The guy that originally wrote it doesn't even use it. Shit is an afterthought.

because it's not GNU

Becuase winblows as tainted it. Only sh for me now.

RING RING RING BONANOFONE! XD
LOL EPIC

are you ok user?

ebin LOL

>HE DOES NOT KNOW BANANUFONE SONG
LOL!

I've been using ZSH lately and it is really great!

install gnu/linux

>this is how lincucks actually live

Because fish is better

Try fish

fish is pretty comfy for me. Like the web based configure utility.

i don't, after reading shitloads of bash books I uninstalled zsh

By autocompletion support I mean packages support zsh autocompletion. I seriously doubt any packages have built in fish autocompletion support.

I've always used /bin/sh. Why wouldn't I use /bin/sh?

zsh looks pretty neat tbqh
