What's your opinion on Mongolia?

>1) Is Kazakhstan the greatest country in the world?
I don't think so. But it definitely not the worst.

>2) Are all other countries run by little girls?
Not sure about this.

>3) Is Kazakhstan no one exporter of potassium?
Nah. But we do export oil, copper, steel, aluminium and many other natural resources.

Why are you living in Kazakhstan? Is it better than Russia?

How long have you been there?

how prominent is the kazakh language

Aren't there a lot of Russians living in Kazakhstan? Do you live in peace?
Do you like the other stan countries? Is Uzbekistan nice?

Do central asia like eastern europe? I mean you were both under USSR, but different culture and religion. Do you have Ukrainians, Poles etc in Central Asia?

What movies are popular in Kazakhstan?
For TV, music, school, movies and books is the language Kazakh or Russian or both

>where can I get a qt kazakh korean gf?
There are many Koreans in Central Kazakhstan, in Karaganda, for example.

>What's your opinion on Mongolia?
Well, I don't know much about Mongolia.
What I know is it's a big country near Kazakhstan and China, a lagging nation.

What is the east like? Around Taldykorgan and Aiaguz in particular.

How close can you get to the former Soviet nuclear testing grounds before arrest/cancer

what are Kazakh stereotypes of other central asian ethnicities? stereotypes of Koreans?

>Why are you living in Kazakhstan? Is it better than Russia?
I was born here. I think life here is similar to Russia.
I plan to move to another country in a next few years.

>How long have you been there?
For almost 30 years now.

What was the reaction to borat like?

>Aren't there a lot of Russians living in Kazakhstan? Do you live in peace?
About 20% of population are Russians. Yes, we live in peace.

>Do you like the other stan countries? Is Uzbekistan nice?
It's difficult for me to answer this one. I don't know so much about these countries. There plenty of guest workers from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan here.

>How religious are Kazakhs? Do girls wear hijab? Do they stay virgin? Do Kazakhs drink a lot?
Not so religious. Very few girls wear hijab. Hijabs are prohibited in schools. Almost all of girls has premarital sex.
I can't say Kazakhs drink a lot, buy they bear an alcohol much worse then Russians do so they can become drunk after even a moderate doze.

>Do central asia like eastern europe? Do you have Ukrainians, Poles etc in Central Asia?
Yes, I think they are very close except for some national differences. There are many Ukrainians who moved here during WWII. Poles are not so abundant, but many of Russians have Poles in their line.

>What movies are popular in Kazakhstan?
People here like Hollywood movies and TV shows (like Game of Thrones, for example).

>For TV, music, school, movies and books is the language Kazakh or Russian or both
It's 50/50 or so.
You can choose Russian or Kazakh school.

>What is the east like? Around Taldykorgan and Aiaguz in particular.
East is OK. I like its nature, it's nice there. I was in Taldykorgan only on my way to Alakol, but I really liked the view from my car's window.

>How close can you get to the former Soviet nuclear testing grounds before arrest/cancer
I've never been interested in that. I think the security is not so good, and if you want you'll definitely can get a radiation sickness.

Well I'm not sure there are any of stereotypes. You know, Kazakhs are really close to another -stans, so there is no room for such things.
Koreans usually are hard-working.

>What was the reaction to borat like?
Some of the patriotic people were deeply insulted by this movie.
Young European-oriented guys saw it just like a funny comedy.

>Do the Kazakh and Russian populations intermarry or do they just keep to their own qts?
There are enough of mixed marriages. But many of Kazakhs denies their children to marry Russians, they afraid that their relatives will blame they for it.

>What do you think about Turkey?
Many of Kazakh like Turkish culture and want to adopt some of it.

>How hard would it be for an American to visit Kazakhstan?
Nazarbaev said recently that you'll need no visa to come starting 2017.
But the touristic sector isn't highly developed yet. There are very few labels in English. So you better find a local English-speaking buddy before you come to show you the country.

is there a huge prejudice against interracial couples with kazakh qts?

>How popular is Golovkin in Kazakhstan?
He is a national hero.
Very very popular.

I heard Kazakhs love a good fight. Can I fight them?

>can a kazakh give me the lyrics of this song please
ortak.kz/ortak-kz/kazakholenderi/ko-gauhartas-kazagymai.html

>is there a huge prejudice against interracial couples with kazakh qts?
I can't say it's huge, but it's presented.

>I heard Kazakhs love a good fight. Can I fight them?
You can become a Chinese and try to occupy their lands.

>Is it true you have marijauna (hashish) growing on the sides of the roads and in the city plaza?
Lol no.
But if you want to buy weed, it's not too hard to find it.

Why do so few Kazakhs leave Kazakstan? We never see them in the West, but they seem like pretty good people and probably better than the other immigrants we have on average.

Jokes on you
*pulls off mask*
I were a Chinaman all along

What are some sayings you'll hear from old people in Kazakhstan?

what does kazakh pussy taste like

At least two my Kazakh buddies lived and worked in U.S., but their parents denied them to stay longer. They think if you're Kazakh, you have to live in your motherland.

>what does kazakh pussy taste like
I've never tasted any.

Do the Christian/Muslim populations get along well?

How big/small is the Christian presence in terms of daily life?

What are some recommendations for learning Russian in particular? I'm in the process of starting Russian III, and still have no idea how to communicate.

>Do the Christian/Muslim populations get along well?
Yep.

>How big/small is the Christian presence in terms of daily life?
It depends on what do mean by "presence"?
About 25% of the population are Christians.

>What are some recommendations for learning Russian in particular?
Uhm. Stay strong, don't give up.
Find a Russian-speaking community. See what's Russians say and repeat.

not him, but what are some good russian tv shows?

What do you mean not him

What does Kazakhstan think of gay people?

The only good Russian TV series have "criminal" in genres list. Try Brigada or Criminal Russia episodes aired in 95-2002.
Not sure if there English subs available though

Thanks for making another thread, the last one was really interesting.
What do you think of China and what is the general opinion on China in Kazakhstan

>not him, but what are some good russian tv shows?
I can't name any. They all are just awful.

>What does Kazakhstan think of gay people?
Gays are not welcomed here, but there are some gay clubs in major cities.

Russian bojeviks are pretty bad from what little I have seen them.

>What do you think of China and what is the general opinion on China in Kazakhstan
Many Kazakhs are afraid of "Chinese threat".

I'm trying to plan a trip through Kazakhstan and I don't trust the travel time estimates from Google Maps, how bad are the roads away from major centers? How long would you expect to take to travel 200km on the highways?

>How long would you expect to take to travel 200km on the highways?
Many roads are in bad conditions, but local drivers can keep avg speed ~110-130 km/h.
Usually it takes about 2 hours.

What are the different ethnic groups over there like?

What are the regions shown here like?

It is very difficult, in my last trip, I spent about 15 hours of driving 1,000 kilometers. In some places, the quality of roads allows you to go about 160 km / h (but not our laws) and in other places have to go about 15 km / h - very poor roads. And be careful on the road, cows and horses can get under the car (like a kangaroo in Australia).
You can try to use the service "Google traffic", for planning an speed. We do not have traffic jams on highways, the drivers take off speed, in places where the road is very bad.

I haven't travel too much over Kazakhstan.
I live in Karagandy Region. It's mostly the Russian-speaking area.
There are plenty of descendant of former Karlag labor camp - USSR oppositionists and WWII captives. Most of Germans are already returned to Germany, but many of them are still here.
Karaganda Region is very rich in mineral resources such as coal, copper, iron, zinc and many others. There are plenty of mines here.

Can't say anything about Akmola region, but the Astana is fast growing city because it's the capital now. Almaty is the former capital, it's really nice there in comparison to other Kazakhstan cities.
North Kazakhstan (Petropavl, Pavlodar, Oskemen) are really connected to Russia.
Western Kazakhstan is all about oil. There are plenty of Kazakh nationalists there who think Nazarbaev is a bad leader.

Southern Kazakhstan is well-known as a foodstuffs supplier. There are many farmers there.

What do Kazakh's like to do for fun? Do you play vidya?

>I plan to move to another country in a next few years.
any particular place ?

Well, I think it's pretty the same that typical Joe likes to do.
They see TV shows and movies, use social networks and play video games.

>any particular place ?
I look toward Canada, but it's not so simple to move there now.
I'm also considering Russia as a plan B.

Why Canada? If you can, you should move to Australia instead. That's where I plan on moving to.

I'm afraid of all the snakes, spiders and other lethal stuff.
Besides it's harder for me to move to Australia in comparison to Canada.
I think Vancouver will be the best place for me.
