>it actually works well for basic stuff
Maybe you should try not being retarded.

tell me then, how do I make an alarm set to vibrate, not silent, not ringer? this is basic functionality

>Sup Forums said try Chrome, it's faster
>tried Chrome. It was faster.
Sup Forums isn't always bad.

>buy thinkpad
was actually a good decision

This. It's a buggy piece of shit on my Moto X Pure. I need to just go to stock

my stock ROM a shit. what's a good alternative

Whichever ROM has the most replies on your devies XDA forum

>install Arch GNU/Linux on a T420

>solus
>templeos

found the techlet

But once you actually get it right, it looks pretty good, and you get quicker/more proficient the more you use it.
It also gives you extra street cred when submitting shit to computer science or mathematics people.

>gentoo, spend hours compiling for fucking nothing

>16GiB, your dick doesnt get any bigger

>SSD, 15 second boot times dont mean shit if you arent spending your time doing anything other than shitposting

>x220, shit screen, shit touchpad, convenient size tho

there's many more, but those are the biggest ones

>>gentoo
>>for fucking nothing
>take git repo
>possibly make some changes
how would you install a package using the head of this repo using your package manager so that you do not have to manually keep track of the installation files?

Aur

Get sleep as Android

>Ubuntu
>Windows 10

Both suck

every time I fell for a Sup Forums meme it ended with it helping me in some way.

I needed a laptop and everybody was saying get a thinkpad so I got a refurbished X200 for $120 and installed debian on it. still using it today.

if IBM made PCs again the world would be a better place. I hope this one never dies.

Too true.

I have a beaten up X200T myself, but it still works so well internally. Rocking Debian on it as well.

>own a T420
>Mint installed
I like you guys. I just think you have too many autists up their own ass to just enjoy fellow techies.

You are obviously retarded

t. got wake up by vibrating alarm from LineageOS 30 minutes ago

It's so badly documented it hurts

>LG G2 battery mod

>x220

>Install Arch Linux.
>Wrestle with config files and read wikis for hours in order for it to perform like I want.
>Said fuck it and installed Xubuntu.
>Everything just works.
>Deem Arch Linux as some sort of rite of passage for techtards who don't have anything important to do.

did you try ticking the "Vibrate" box?

You have ascended

>Install Arch Linux.
>Copy across my configurations from my funtoo installation (which were mostly not made there, but brought across from a previous distro)
>Everything just works.
there's hardly any arch-specific configs, and you don't even need to touch most of them

by checking the right checkbox?

I bought a cowon d2 which was being heavily shilled at the time
