/gmouse/- General Mouse thread

Can we have a decent mouse thread?

I'm planning to buy a new mouse to replace my Deathadder that served me 3 years. It still work's fine but when something hits the cable it would disconnect all of a sudden.

Looking into Zowie Ec2a, Steelseries rival 300 or the Logitech g403.

I have a claw grip and would prefer a mouse slightly lighter and smaller than the Deathadder.

Also I play some games like CSGO, Overwatch and Dota if that helps. I'm just trying to get a good mouse with good sensor and is actually comfy.

Razer Naga Hex since years

Too bulky and useless buttons for me honestly. need something that's sleek and simple

The logitech and Zowie are solid choices, the rival 300 is known for being a overly large mouse with no smaller option since the 700 and 500 is smaller but very heavy.

playing wow

also the naga bulk is comfy as fuck, especially for massive hands

Forget le precision meme, whats the most comfortable mouse to use?

I used my mamba daily for about four years and still works like a charm. Why is it so low?

fnatic flick is pretty comfy

the 500 is for moba/mmorpg, while the 700 is just too expensive and gimmicky with a screen to loop gifs and shit. Don't need that in my life

This list is old as fuck, mamba used to be garbagio but it and the deathadder are good now ignoring razer logo

i believe its in the low tier because logitech has a better wireless option? not sure though

sadly it isn't available here in my country. do you personally own one? how is it?

buttons are top quality no annoying logos I'm a bit biased since I owned a func ms-2 (func were bought by fnatic) for 2 years but the fit is nice for me there isn't much forced shaped so it should fit a lot of people

depends on your grip style and hand size. I personally have a claw grip with 18 cm hand length from the tip of my middle finger to the end of my palm(basically my wrist). I have a deathadder, same as OP but isn't as comfy. A bit large for my taste. Looking into the mionix castor

the shape kinda looks like the rival 300 or is it just me?

These lists always seem outdated. I mean the G9/G9x in good tier? Lel, maybe 10 years ago when laser mice were still a thing.

Seriously these tier lists have been completely irrelevant since sensors like the A3090 came out. At this point it's just personal preference based on shape, and secondary stuff like price, warranty, reliability, etc. So there is really only two tiers of mice at this point, good and shit.

I don't own one but it seems similar but with the steelseries being larger

Seems like someone needs to update it.
What are the mice that you would consider for people to buy? And mice that people should avoid in general?

thoughts on the nixeus revel? I'm looking for a cheap but reliable mouse that will perform well in FPS games, and it looks perfect for my needs. considering the price (37$ new on amazon) and the 3360 sensor, I might actually get it. any issues with it that may change my decision?

have you considered looking at the rival 300/100? or the budget mice of logitech?

>RAT in good tier

I don't believe it.

Thanks my dude. which mouse are you currently rocking?

>G500 god tier

is this a troll?

Buy by sensor and internals, stop buying fucking logitech meme shit.

Logitech g pro it is sort of small though. What ever you do just don't get a laser mouse.

but logitech has good mice tho

What is a good and cheap mouse? I don't want spend more than 20-30 USD desu. I just want it to play Osu!, I use the TP trackpoint for everything else.

the redragon one could be an option, or rival 100

is g300s good mouse?

Genius m6-600 3310
Genius M6-400 3310

I love my SS Rival. I did get the one without the updated rubber sides so there are pits forming but it doesn't really bother me.

Logitech M510 reporting in. The best full-size wireless mouse on the market.

Logitech G502
Ugly gaymer fuck, but great mouse

You need to add Apple tier OP

what do you play mostly?

that looks comfy as fuck. do you play games with it?

best mouse

yeah I've looked at them, but most are out of my league. I live in russia, my budget is extremely limited, and every retailer is so jewish with the prices (especially considering the state of our currency)

with that said, the revel, ordered through amazon with a special russian delivery service, will be slightly cheaper than the rival 100 from local retailers. thanks to the price difference I can even throw in a nice mousepad. in my opinion that's an amazing offer because of the revel's better sensor. only thing I'm afraid of is getting a faulty copy, it will be a pain returning it and getting another.

Yea. No delay (if there is, I don't notice it).

Also survived being submerged in sweet tea. Buttons were sticky at first, and it wouldn't let you use it until it dried, but the stickiness went away with about 2 days of use and it works perfect.

>charging your mouse
I've been on the same AA for 2 years.

well good luck to you bro. Seems like a steal if you'd get the original one with the good sensor

bow down cuck

how do you feel about the wireless g403? is it worth the money? or should i just get a decent wireless mouse from logitech without the gamer meme?

I don't take "gaymer mice" seriously. The g403 doesn't have anything different than the M510 except for the gaymer meme. You can reprogram the side mouse keys to anything you want. I use the side buttons for grenades for FPS and use the middle mouse for knife.

this cheap crap (a4tech x7 F3)
>macros
>macros
>macros
this embarassing gayming mouse has earned me some money by busting my productivity

also saving porn galleries is sooooo much better:
>copy name of the bitch to clipboard
>save as
>001.jpg
>click side button
>wild home, ctrl+v,_ ,enter performed
>saved as "somebitch_001.jpg"

I had this mouse and it was awful. The scroll wheel was mushy and just outright terrible. The mouse is too heavy. The ergonomics are shit tier as well.

The MX518 was discontinued 6 years ago, why is it still on the list?

both my razer naga mice sensors went bad, currently using g502. i'd say the quality on the g502 is better, but the grip on the naga suits my large hand much better.

>heavy
weak wrist babby

>discontinued mice aren't good

On the other hand, if it's Fingertip, especially if you're left handed (surprisingly) get one of the remaining rats while you still can. For all the shit people give its design, it does a really good job of creating 'zones' that your fingers fall onto naturally

Call me when you don't need to flip the mouse over to switch devices.

This
but the G500 isnt one of them

james donkey possibly

elder god tier

if you're switching devices that much you should be using multiple mice either ways

I'm considering switching to Rival 500 from my G502. I think it has a much better button layout, even increasing the amount of them.
While I like the G502, the scroll wheel (which is metal) has started to rust and it has been unbalanced from the beginning, also the mouse is apparently designed to collect as much dirt as possible.

If I had the money, though, I would go for wireless.

Why when it's faster to switch with and less clutter on my desk?

how is the kinzu good tier? I remember like 3 years ago it would never be recommended as a flawless sensor mouse.

Logitech G303, is great tier

What's wrong with the mamba?

My g403 is God tier

Thoughts on the Mionix NAOS 7000 im looking for a right hand mouse for large/normal sized hands which are good for palm grip

picked related,

g502 proteus rgb.

The only problem with it is that if you put all the weights in it doesn't close all the way. Luckily it's the perfect weight without any weights imo.

I used an MX518 for 5 years and couldn't find a new one after it got discontinued. Having it in a recommendations list when you can't find an unused one for a reasonable price seems silly.

I use a Logitech G500. Seemed good at the time but doesn't hold up anymore. Replacing it soon with a G403.

idk about naos but castor is pretty good for me, personally i can both claw&palm grip on it

Having the same question as you I went into a big store that actually had display models that you could grab and feel. That way I found that after lusting towards expensive mouses it turns out all I needed was a Speedlink Decus. It's nothing exceptional but it's like they took my hand measurements and made me a custom mouse. Of course it depends from person to person.

what's wrong with mamba? you can use it with a cable

yes,i have it.
Good ergonomics and the same macro system but without the crazy and weird design crap.
Still has a side light

Im in the market for a wireless mouse, im looking at the g900 or the Razer Mamba; is there any other alternatives?
Price isn't an issue.

It's their cheap lightup multibutton mouse so no. Unless you have small or girl hands i
wouldn't suggest it

I miss the 3rd button by the thumb on the g500.

I currently have one but I don't know of any good replacement for it.
There is no mouse with that kind of button.

shitty sensor

This mouse is w/o a doubt better than all the other shitty mice in this thread.

Logitech G900 is pretty comfy and wireless is pretty damn great. Charge lasts a couple days if you aren't a LRGBT faggot. Software is good. It has 4 side buttons, two on each side. Might sound bad at first but they're removable and if you decide to keep them in, you get used to it p. quick. Infinite scroll wheel is great.

outstanding mouse 9/10

Also, great sensor. Downside is price.

Question for you guys,

just bought pic related (Zowie EC1-A) and was wondering if the scroll wheel was supposed to be "clicky" when scrolling it. seems slightly louder than it should be, especially comparing to the other Zowie's I've tried as well as my deathadder.

any experience/comment would be appreciated. If it's a manufacturing issue I'll send it back and get a new one. like the mouse but LOUD scroll wheel

Lefty here with a Mionix Avior 8200. I really like it, but the scroll wheel click is starting to act funny. If it dies, I'm probably just gonna buy another one unless there's another good ambidextrous mouse with as many buttons.

>not going 100% grandpa mode with a trackball and memory foam pad

I've got the Naga. I have the buttons bound to quickly type out functions I frequent when programming or scripting

Previously owned an IME, now own a deathadder 3.5G.

The IME is great- at slower speeds. If you play an FPS and need to do snap shots or turn around quickly, the IME will not hold up. The deathadder does. They have a similar fit, identical function.

I have a deathadder. I like it, but I need a white mouse for maximum ricing.
What do I buy?

What's the general opinion on Corsair mice?

I ordered a m65 and its on the way but I might need to order another mouse for another PC.

Also why is the Sabre priced so close to the m65, do they have widely different uses?

Buy: Mouse with 3310 or later sensor
Avoid: Everything else unless you're only spending $10 for it

Do you guys use mouse pads or just your desk?

I bought a Zowie FK back in 2013 because of these meme charts
It it still competitive

currently using the ec2-a. will be copping the white one this week

Thoughts on the Steelseries Sensei Raw? Was thinking of picking it up because I like the simple design of it.

I use a big mousemat

Here's what I use. It's the only thing that works on a desk without a damn mousepad and it only cost me 3€. Tell me why I should get anything else and what can even replace this timeless classic.

had 2 different big mousemats which were both cancer as far as the edges were concerned now I'm using a hard logitech mousemat because of a hole on the desk and it's doubly cancer but it has far better tracking than the psuedo wood ikea desk

also using m510, i like big mice.
what to get??

Ah. I use a polished wood desk and it's lovely.

I have one but that rubber around it turned hella icky. Is it fine on yours?

The rubber on mine is good but I notice while using it, it starts to glitch out and shit
I've been using it for like 4 years now
I want one just like it wired or similar

Do you use it on a table directly? Mine started flipping out when the texture of my fake wood table got worn out a bit and I had to get a mousepad after that.
