Use the current stable version of VLC which is 2.0.6. There is no botnet with VLC and it works sell.

vlc sucks on android. mxplayer has a lot more functionality and flexiblity when it comes to s/w decoding

I just don't understand why people update perfectly usable apps like QuickPic and MXPlayer that can only be updated to add social bullshit and ads. My MXPlayer works flawlessly, no ads, same with QuickPic im using 2.9.3 version. Literally just fucking werks
