I have the smaller jbl flip 3, I like it a lot.

The Charge 3 is actually pretty powerfull, I've tried one myself and I really liked it

bluetooth 5 in the snapdragon 835 (galaxy s8) is making this function obsolete

No there is a stereo mode but you have to download jbl connect to set it up
