What happens to the rest of the world

Tomorrow China and the USA were replaced with ocean. This Ocean has an average death of about 120 meters and and largely flat on the bottom.

The boarders of the countries that now suddenly boarder the ocean are unchanged. (as in they run up to a sheer vertical drop where they meet the ocean instead of gradually sloping down to sealevel)

What happens to the rest of the world?

Russia's two biggest counters are now gone so Putin will declare himself global dictator.

>an average death
>boarders

panic

Russia takes over the world.

canada becomes a new australia

You realize the security counsil wouldn't hold any value after that

>UN security council
>having any fucking actual pull

xaxaxaxaaxxaaxxaxaxaxaxaxa bylat

The end of civilization, as Europe is overrun by the Islamist and African menace.

16 year olds cant speel

Sea level drops 6.44 meters, as water rushes to fill the now empty space of where the US and China once were.

This is assuming that the countries just disappear, and aren't instead replaced by more seawater.

...

This.

Serbia erases Albania from the face of the planet, since there is no America to babysit them anymore. Then we make peace with Croatia and Bosnia, unite, annex Romania as our Slav brothers, and then invade Bulgaria coz fuck Bulgaria

>What happens to the rest of the world?
The world learns to love scaly Atlantean cock.

Or, if it's just some sort of natural phenomenon... The immediate change is that freedom of navigation for trade would no longer be secure without the US navy. This would lead to the remaining world powers sending trade ships escorted by naval convoys. The world would break up into trade blocks (the UK trading with the commonwealth, Germany trading with its European dependencies, etc. It's too dangerous to invest heavily in a foreign country because of political risk (e.g., the foreign government expropriates all that you have build on their soil). Therefore, trading blocks would reverts back to pre-WWII style imperialism. Japan creates the co-prosperity sphere. Russia recreates the Soviet sphere of influence. European powers colonize weaker countries, etc.

>This is assuming that the countries just disappear, and aren't instead replaced by more seawater.

Going by the OP description they are replaced with seawater and new continental shelf.

Brazil takes over the world. Not even memeing.

>Change in ocean currents
>New Chinese Sea formed
>Warm ocean currents and precipitation makes Siberia and Mongolia a paradise.

1. Russia annexes Mongolia
2. Japan, South Korea, ASEAN and Australia create a regional alliance to secure the surrounding oceans and created a united front against Russia
3. Canada has to create a military capable of actually protecting its own borders, their taxes are raised and benefits lowered, emigration to France, UK and Australia increases and immigration practically ceases
4. south america either creates a regional alliance or go to war against each other
5. EU federation and ramp up of military spending
6. gulf states annex the rest of the middle east
7. israel either invades the middle east, is left alone or nukes the shit out of the area

Nah, western Europe could unite and beat him back if need be.

>Canada has to create a military capable of actually protecting its own borders
From what? Greenland? Mexico is miles of ocean away and invading a sheer cliff from Siberia is pretty unrealistic

Wouldn't the world economy collapse without China?

The only thing that would truly bother me about this arrange is that the panama canal and our double coast is worth shit now that the atlantic and the pacific are connected.

Without China's aggregate supply of low value added goods there would be a very extended period of stagflation at the very least, probably followed by deep recession.

I don't know enough yet to tell you what would happen if the US just vanished though.
