Americans wont defend this

>americans wont defend this

>2016
>Americans still don't have contactless

Too hard to tip people using paywave :^)

>paying for goods and services

Good goys

That is just a meme, right?

American here. It's so much easier for someone to steal your credit card information with one of those things.

>McDonald's gives a Sundae for free if you pay contactless
>pay 0.40€ for an espresso
>get a free ice-cream

>he doesn't even know what it is
Americans are third world as fuck

not really, mate. they have caps of $100 on it and you can't take money out with it. i'd say you'd be more likely to get robbed for cash then get someone with a scanner stealing any sort of information off you that is, one again, only worth $100

Credit cards like all electronic payment systems are 1488% botnet.

What, but that's not true, at least in Italy. They're just regular credit/debit/prepaid cards with this contactless thing added (Which enables to do >25€ purchases without typing the PIN)

>(Which enables to do >25€ purchases without typing the PIN)

yeah it varies from country to country. so your one would be the same but replace $100 with 25 euros.

I think it depends on bank.
I can set limit for payment methods as I want.

Still don't get how that would supposedly limit the damage if they were able to steal your security PIN (I am a fan of contactless but duh, it's not exactly supersafe).

Nah just checked 25€ is the cap here in Italy.

Contactless is for kids or morons.

When I went to Canada for the first time I was absolutely stunned at this technology.

>not using cash for small expenses
>wanting to let the banks, the police, the judges, the credit card company, the tax man, and god knows who else, having the complete log of your expenses

100% cuck, contactless or not

>walk into shop
>grab red bull
>tap card on
>walk out

literally under 20 seconds in the shop

Australians are the best goys

LOL
I have contactless in my phone.
It's 2016 for heavens sake.

Bank only knows the store you visited they don't know what you bought, Visa/Mastercard (or whoever operates the card in your country) on the other hand might know.
T: banker

Some stores are revealing enough about the content (a sex shop, a Gucci store, whatever).

Also the bank can track your location. That's a problem, for example, when you're a legit tax resident abroad and the French tax man will try to fuck you by "proving" you're still resident in France, based on your occasional expenses made here.

Just an example among dozens.
