Because reading is for faggots.

hows that landing on the moon going eurotrash?

/wrekt

>American """""""""""education"""""""""""
You mean the country whose president thinks global warming is a conspiracy theory and whose VP actually believes in gay conversion therapy?

LOL

I have no idea. Even the way they get their "PhD" comparable to anywhere in Europe is laughable, at best.

Americans invented the system you shitpost on you fag. Name one important thing a eurofag invented within the USA's lifetime.

>he believes in the fake moon landings

Fat post.

Your post is so inane it's baffling.

biggest problem is teachers unions, pretty much unless a teacher gets caught sleeping with a student then they're not accountable for their behavior or performance

Reading is for niggers.
Who wants to memorize a book?
- terry davis

Crooked unbrushed teeth post.

I'm using the inventions as a metric for intelligence. What's the point of learning if you don't do anything with it.

>they actually pay insane money to learn
only retards can think of a system like that

Compounding problems:

-most schools are underfunded because taxpayers don't want to support them
-teachers are afraid to exercise control over their classes because of litigious parents who could get them fired for mere slights
-teachers are generally underpaid and have to supplement classroom supplies from their own wallets
-No Child Left Behind just dragged the brighter kids down to the lower levels
-most universities lowered barriers to entry to bring in more revenue while also dropping most full-time professors for adjuncts
-most technical education is done at trade schools/community colleges that only poor people attend who then can't find work because community college gets you nowhere

So in the end you've got a system designed to push kids into expensive collegiate programs that they'll most likely drop out of without forcing them to learn anything more than some rote memorization and maybe how to hold a screwdriver

>oh no it's retarded

So pretty much it's capitalism's fault?

Glad to see that "free" market is working out so well for you Amerilards. Keep pushing for it.

>-No Child Left Behind just dragged the brighter kids down to the lower levels
We got the same in France but it's the whole educational system that try to accomodate nignogs who don't want to work and shit on serious kids.

>gays ridicule conversion therapy while actually believing they can convert straight males to homosexuality

Can't make this shit up.

bullshit, the reason tax payers don't want to fund schools anymore is dismally bad teachers who can't be fired for underperforming

As long as they can buy foreign experts after they graduate, they'll be fine.
Top notch universities need a lot of money to pay for foreigners that do the research for them, that's why the tuitons are so high.

And the teachers underperform because they get paid next to nothing for their work and have next to no power over their students. Bring back corporal/creative punishment and the kids will suddenly start paying more attention and perform better.

Literally created computers.
>american education

Fucking WRECKED! LMAO
#AMERICA!!!!

teachers were underperforming with no consequence long before inflation and unpassed bonds killed their salary. and the ones that do "perform" are gauged by the wrong metric of teaching students how to take tests instead of how to think critically

>We got the same in France
Fortunately we don'thave this in Germany. People cry rivers about how our system is unfair to migrants because they can't attend to higher education, but basically those that are actually able to perform at decent levels are just doing fine.
We have however problems with economic interests in changing curriculums, like the made up "expert shortage" that sped up education in schools. There's no shortage. They just don't want to pay the wages.

Mostly because there is no good way to measure if a teacher is bad.
Ideally, the principal should be able to spot bad teachers and then fail to hire after a testing period like any other workplace, but teachers have traditionally never been employees.
Locally, we just changed the work rules for teachers and they all threw a fit.

The new requirements was that they should be present on the school during the day.

Why Soviets confirmed them then?

It isn't, actually American universities are the best in the world for STEM degrees, so much so that most countries, India, China, and Korea send over their brightest to go to our schools.

Problem is, that's the top 5% of schools, and the disparity is huge. Cornell, Rice, MIT and Georgia Tech for example are some of the best STEM schools in the world and companies like Google basically funnel graduates out of their programs and into their offices.

I love foreign exchange students, and I've become friends with a few, but it's honestly a problem right now. Taxpayers fund education used to train foreign workers and fill class seats that could otherwise be filled by Americans.

that's why I hate teachers unions. the mass protection from consequences gives them an entitlement complex

why do eurotrash always make anti american threads like they have something to prove. What does it feel like being born with a continent-wide inferiority complex?

>all worthwhile certs are provided by American foundations

lmao, okay Pajeet

Because they were in on the spherical earth hoax and it supported their lies.

this
the earth is flat my friends, it only appears spherical because of the curvature of space

>worthwhile certs
worthwhile in the US.

why do you assume he is European considering how "anti-americanism" (or just shitposting in this case) is generally widespread everywhere? Are you the one that suffer from an inferiority complex?

>actually American universities
>that's the top 5% of schools
So, the top 5% of american universities are also at the top of the world. well, no shit, that's how tops work.
>companies like Google basically funnel graduates out of their programs
Like they had a choice

>worthwile certs
>worthwile
>certs

murrica, fucccc ye

Because Eurocucks are usually the ones spreading the sentiment because they've realized they no longer have their own unique cultures, they're just facsimiles of American culture because they absorbed so much of it through pop culture. The only claims to fame Europeans have anymore is ancient buildings that they're slowly tearing down in favor of the cultureless steel and glass towers and white and dark colored box houses. Ever hear a European talk about their culture? It's always MUH CRUSADES and NAPOLEON OUI OUI

Literally not a single person thinks that.

Perhaps Europeans talking about their culture keep it simple when talking to you.

Because capitalism. The most retarded and inefficient system known to men.

Main problem is everybody is thrown together at highschool.

In my country you get separated into different levels based on school performance around age 13, and only the highest level (top 10%) qualifies for university.

Korea? Taiwan? Singapore?

It is a bit infuriating really.
Here, a normal work week is 37h, and 6 weeks of vacation / year.
Schools have closed a bit more often, so teachers work 40h / week and then have 10 weeks of vacation instead.
Obviously they don't teach all that time, so the rest is preparation for classes.
With the old rules, they could just say they spend the time to prepare and there was no reason to actually prepare for classes more than once.
Now they have to prepare on their place of work

>ancient buildings that they're slowly tearing down

No we don't.

In most Western European countries any remotely interesting old building is legally protected as a cultural heritage site.

My city alone has tends of thousands of heritage buildings which nobody is allowed to alter or demolish.

I had a gay friend who was constantly trying to convert one of my straight friends. He went on to work at Disney World since he was an English major.

Pretty much this, Americans don't make anti European threads.

>which nobody is allowed to alter or demolish.
In our capitalist times, money sadly allows for everything - if there's millions involved, it's sometimes cheaper to just pay the huge fines than to alter your plans. But it's considerably tough and generally leads to fuckhuge protests, that's true.

I shared my game theory course with a group of exchange students from Harvard.

All the math had to be dumbed down for them.
And their exam was made much easier than ours, else they would all fail miserably.
American students, even from your so-called "elite universities" are essentially retards compared to our students.

almost snorted.

Don't worry you're not the only one :^)

Did I give you permission to reply to me? No? Then fuck off, and don't make that mistake ever again. You have NO idea what power I wield...

Your powers are weak compared to my power of unsolicited remarks!

Have you ever had any gay friends? Sure they say they're joking but sometimes they get too handsy

It about the same everywhere basically?

Netherlands

Yeah that's why all European countries economies are being bled dry

Bloated military budget, run by conservatives, rich and corporations. It's as simple as that.

That's about the same everywhere.

so you don't have a real response then? kay

The USA is a nation founded by farmers and religious rejects from Europe, now that all nazi scientists are dead and the advancements achieved by them have made it to the rest of the world it's returning back to the roots.

Socialism will not fix the problem if that's what you're implying

This is your average liberal argument, no substance or understanding of the subjects they are talking about

Well of course, they're not American and they hate the US, they just want to leech off our superior economy and send rupees home to their squalid homeland.

>implying everything americans have wasn't made by europeans

Isn't Harvard more of a law/business school?

the problem is the h1b program. companies don't want "the best and brightest from around the world", they want a bunch of foreigners who will work for less than an american worker with a college degree is willing to, and who they can ship back to bumfuckistan the second he gets uppity. when you see the google ceo crying about trump slashing the h1b program in the tech sector, you should revel in it and press S to spit on his grave

>Harvard

isn't that school like 80% diversity admits and legacy

As if this was a bipolar issue where socialism was a single state and the only alternative.

No real choice you can make is restricted to two extremes, but what am I saying this for. EVERY choice Americans have to make results in two extremes demonizing each other because even choosing options needs to be dumbed down.

it's 60% jews, and they still complain about there not being enough jews despite it being 10000x the population rate. not even pol, google it. if you're white and not a jew, you have about a 2% chance of getting in with stellar grades

It's pretty disgusting we are basing a discussion on a clickbait shit ad

>qz.com

pathetic

It's America bashing
we could base this on a picture of a half eaten cookie and everyone would weigh in anyway.

Blame the GOP. They want to feed students Christianity and "America First" instead of STEM and a wide world view.

my high school """tech class""" was taught by a dinosaur cripple woman who gave us packets about a typing program and Microsoft Word for 12 weeks

and our highest math class was calc 1

michigan public schools not even once

No argument was presented to me thus I am not required to provide a counter-argument.

Get over yourself.

>Half niggers think they made the moonlanding possible not the pure White germanic species
heh

Europe is capitalist though.

School has been shit for decades. How is this the GOP's fault?

Nah, if we let the average redneck evaluate our political system, we are clearly socialist. because we have taxes, health care, rules, don't allow nutjobs to buy guns, have working public schools and support a working welfare system.

It only covers theory and never practice.

How is a country ran by conservatives a bad thing? The reason European culture started to die after WW2 is because liberals gave little thought to preserving culture and tradition so you're forced to "culturally enrich" your boring countries with shitskins.

Ironically, they do cover practice, but most of that happens at community colleges/trade schools instead of the universities. The average 20 year old with a 2-year associate's degree in CS from a community college is usually more adept at code than the average 4 year degree graduate.

It's an irony of history that preserving culture and tradition generally comes with destroying what people you don't like contributed to it.

>entartete Kunst

>rural and suburban retards: the post

>Americans invented the system you shitpost on you fag.
>Literally created computers.
>>american education

Honestly, of all the nations of the world, the US has the strongest claim to have invented the computer, from Herman Hollerith's early tabulating system for the 1890 census, to the first electronic computers at the end of the Second World War to the invention of the personal computer.

Second would be the UK from Charles Babbage (who while a visionary, made little practical progress) to some early electronic computer (maybe you could argue ARM as well). But the British were too conservative to adopt advancements in office technology early on, and by the time they developed electronic computer they didn't have the resources to capitalize on them.

Other than a few machines here and there, continental Europe didn't do much to advance early computing. Safe to say that the computer is an Anglo-American invention.

>tfw WWW (aka the Internet as you amerifucks know it) was develop at CERN
>tfw this type of board was invented in Japan
>tfw when the language you're using was invented by the brits

Yeah I guess youre right, China comes to mind. It's still a sad sight to see Western Europeans preserving nothing, not traditional clothing, not diets, not religion and the outcome is places like Sweden where people are scared to talk to each other in public.

The top universities in the world are all in the US. Education isn't the issue. They can hire a handful of Indians for the price of one American fresh out of college. Companies are willing to take the risk that at least one of these guys will get the job done, and if they don't they can fire the rest and grab a new batch of Indians.

Doesn't emphasize responsibility and dedication, but hedonism and decadence. Pretty much every foreign kid ever falls into that shit. The women less than the men in my experience.

People see what they want to see.
Cultural heritage in Europe is growing strong ever since, it's just developing, as culture always did.

Mostly it's religious people complaining about how "classical holidays" (that weren't even european to begin with) are losing importance to other habits. like the reformation day/happy cadaver has been replaced by halloween.'

Yeah, because celebrating all the holy sidekicks or a religious terrorist like on 50 other holidays throughout the year is so much preferable to something unique and cheerful.

>muh occultism

Or the favourite, a muslim wanting to be a member of the marksman guild causes a shitstorm in all of germany. I guess mainly because he doesn't drink and they want fair chances for everyone when they shoot at wooden birds while being drunk af.

>Why is American technological education (and American education in general actually) so much shit?

You guys all need to read this blog: educationrealist.wordpress.com/

He gives the low down on how education reformers have continuously 'reformed' US education with little positive achievements but lots of negative ones at that, all because they refuse to acknowledge that that inborn ability trumps their bullshit programs. They don't want to admit the truth because it would mean saying that the racial gaps between Blacks, Hispanics, Whites and Asians is real and cannot be closed (without biological intervention). So we go around and around like a bunch of retards, wondering why the world is so crazy, given that we get the same results for doing the same thing over and over again.

Here's an example, which I will summarize below: educationrealist.wordpress.com/2017/04/15/corrupted-college/

>Be California State University system.
>Accept any high school graduate.
>CSU fills with Blacks and Hispanics, who somehow graduate without learning the fundamentals.
>Allow unlimited remediation.
>People complain.
>Vows to eliminate remediation programs.
>Found it would reduce Black/Hispanic enrollment, asks for extension.
>It got worse with the extension.
>California even eliminated the high school exit exams, because it was racist.
>So now they are going to allow remediation course to count as credit, as to not hurt feelings.

tl;dr You can get a bachelor's in California for doing 8TH GRADE MATH, thereby destroying whatever value the bachelor's had. Hope you've got your master's lined up.

>>tfw WWW (aka the Internet as you amerifucks know it) was develop at CERN

To be fair, the Internet was developed by DARPA, so I guess you could call a half-American invention.

>happy cadaver
all holies

I always mix them up because this whole crap is retarded.

You can call everything half-something

That's how globalization works in academia.

Sure no problem with that. Newgroups is a totally American invention, along with the related infrastructure that the WWW now relies on.

If the Earth is flat, show me a photo of its edge.

Nice "race realist" propaganda

Because college is a fucking meme in the United States. Half the people I know in sysadmin and software dev are hucking it degree-free. I know multiple people who could drop out now and make $75k.

HR departments and teachers unions push college when most CRUD devs don't need it. They can fuck off.

It doesn't have to work well, it just has to work (most companies opinion)
Also, school's are businesses, they don't really care either, as long as the student pays them.

Is it situations like this that make cutting money to public schools a good thing? Perhaps in the future private schools will soar in popularity.
