How is it possible that cartel members deny so firmly that they're in a cartel. The worst part is that they don't even recognise they're in a cartel.
If you actually see them talking on a staff channel, they'll refuse the notion of a cartel when talking about Sup Forums threads and hate.
Meanwhile, staff is shared all over the place, the nyaa "committee" that decides blue status on releases is picked from cartel groups. Only the people they trust and consider good enough gets there. Don't think there's anyone there outside of cartel's groups. And of course there's been problems with members of that "comittee" favouring their own releases in the rare case 2 cartel groups work on the same show.

desu go performs decently (i think node and especially python would have trouble handling the load), and it's kinda hard to do shit wrong on it (aka you need to try really hard to get a program to compile and misbehave).
java and c# are good, php is too if you enforce actual guidelines on it (and pantsu codebase is kinda messy, imagine if it was in php).
