It's actually fucking terrible.

It';s files are sprawled out all over the place, there are like 10 trillion places a .service file, compared to 1 fucking place.
It stops boot at random for non system disk issues - like it stops the WHOLE boot process because a drive that wasn't ready.
Not to mention that if you're running SAMBA at all you're probably in for a 5-10 minute bootup while it fails to properly start nmbd.

Steam support is still growing, and if you get angry and swear enough you'd be surprised what you can trick into working with Wine, especially with PlayOnLinux. Fallout 3 runs just as well/poorly as it does on Windows, for instance.

That's the other way around, with a package manager you get the dependencies you need, in Windows you get every version of every .dll every developer has ever used, because they always bundle their .dll in case of incompability, hence the classical 'ever growing Windows partition even after you've uninstalled the program.
