Until today at 1800 EST

until next month when vega comes out

It's already obsolete.

At least two years at 1080p/1440p. Probably a year for 4k. Processor, SSD, and RAM will all be fine for 2-5 years depending on advancements. GPU is what's gonna need an upgrade soonest to remain "high-end".

It's already obsolete lmao

I HAVE 7700k AND 16 GB RAM TOO, ARE YOU ME?
But I'm holding on to gtx 1080 (really nice price atm), will replace it for 1180ti once it comes since 1080ti is in weird spot as it overkills 1440p but it's too shit for 4k

Don't you got better things to do than to try to brag about a build that any one with a decent job can easily afford?

>Quad core CPU
Going to be obsolete in 2-3 years

go back to your Sup Forums containment general

What do you guys think?

>rig
kys you're self

till the end of this console gen

3-4years, have fun playing CS:GO

About three to six months.

>7700k
>high end

pick one

You bought a bad GPU. Ryzen would have been better for long term.

And Volta comes out in six months.

It will be midrange then.

>only 16GiB ram

why tho? You obviously want a computer to be productive, why would you limit it with this minuscule amount of ram? Its not 2010 any longer, its time to think bigger.

>reddit frog
>rig
>be productive
I can guarantee he bought it to play gaymes

I am on a low power kick atm

35 watt led 32" monitor
8 watt Intel compute stick

43 watts to shit post on Sup Forums 24/7

Its 12p per khw, So works out a 78p a month

you will just be wasting money not playing games on your set up

Your biggest issue is going to be that you're a corelet. Should have went HEDT or AMD.

t. 8 year old HEDT system still going strong.

>16g ram.
> high end
Lel

>bought a 7700k
>could have bought a 16 thread R7 1800x futureproof
you made a big mistake...the rest of your rig is alright though

>7700k

...

Should be fine for email, light web browsing or mine craft at 1080p. Any more then that and you risk a house fire.

>AS "HIGH END"
Depends on what resolution and refresh rate you're playing at and how stringent your own requirements are. I'd probably keep it for like 2 years until a graphics card upgrade at least unless progress is very, very slow. Volta looks like it could be 50% faster, which is a pretty decent boost, so I don't think that 1080 Ti will last more than 2 years.

>futureproof
literally no such thing

It would many years to come
Don't fall for the more cores meme.

>7700k
Fail
