Hi Sup Forums, what's the best choice for a distro that: >looks nice (Gnome out of the box is a plus) >requires minimal tinkering >mostly just werks >doesn't sell my dick pics to the Chinese government
It's only for playing around with basic scripting/C programming on my laptop, my actual productivity machine is my desktop. I'm considering Elementary OS which looks okay out of the box but the DE is prett gay as far as custom themes go.
The devs are unprofessional as fuck and the whole distro is aimed at kids who want an edgy Arch distro without learning anything.
Just install Ubuntu, Fedora or Debian.
