Linux is my general purpose OS -- I use it for web browsing, email, torrenting, watching tv/movies/animu either on my laptop's screen or plugging it into a tv at my friend's or gf's place, playing games like dwarf fortress or console emulators, messing around with image editing using Darktable or GIMP, messing around with simple video editing using Blender, etc.

I use Linux everyday for most of my casual computer needs. I only use Windows for trading software, tax software, and the occasional game.

The current Windows 10 has solid basic tiling. You can resize and use shortcuts. Still lacking workspaces.
Thanks to sway I discovered Angel Beats btw. I experimented with gaps but it's not worth it on a laptop and went back to X. Can someone post current sway benchmarks?

I use Fedora on my desktop because it's ez enough. You can choose a minimal installation from the net installer, it's nice.

My laptop runs Void because I used arch before systemd and I really don't like it. I do still look at pkgbuilds from AUR packages once in a while, though. It's the only thing I miss.
