You know... being in the middle of Europe isnt that bad :) Id say more - its unique. Germany,Austria and Czech are western as fuck ( by non-christian government,culture of rape and sex) ,eastern Europe is most about religion,values and family(Ukraine,Belraus and Lativa),and middle Europe is like Poland - we like to take our tradition serious and we have deep roots in Christianity but on the other hand there is Warsaw,Posnan,Katowice,which are modern and western cities with western-minded people.

i think you are mixing up terms. being western country means just being european. it has noting to do with this 'world division' like 1st, 2nd or 3rd world or with western/eastern europe division.
