paperweight

you can put it into an obscure object and post it on reddit

Put it in an actual pie. Gold for months. Reddit Fame.

PiHole

/thread

Emulator box and use the composite out to put it on a CRT for maximum upboats on reddit.

install mate
is universal server
for just about anything

how about a plastic case that i bought with it
its been doing that for 3 years

also desktop .. but can be headless server
stick powered usb drive into it

Another sucker appears.

When are we going to have a board specifically for people who brought pi's without having any idea what they want to do with them?

Needs a 3d printed mini NES case for maximum upvotes

If you have to ask Sup Forums what you should do with it then it's already a paperweight

ssh/vpn server if you don't already have one
transmission runs okay on it, but dont expect fast speeds
it also makes a good paperweight

This works okay, but for me is was easier to block ads on the host

rpi 4 with usb 3 when

you can not "/thread" your own post

this guy did something cool with a pi

rpi 4 with gigabit ethernet and usb 3 when

you just did dumbass

school's out yeah?

yeah! school's out

They're good BIOS flashers. If you wanna flash trannyboot or unbrick dead/passworded laptops it'll work great.

Officially filtering "rasp"
sa g ee

pretty cool concept. nobody i know is interested in this shit though

i put it on mine and had it running for about 6 hrs at uni,

no one found it, maybe if I put it on a charger for a few days people will find it, but most people use the uni wifi and dont look for anything else

i have mine setup as a piratebox too :3

attach it to a dildo and install it in your ass while meditating on the perils of making impulsive purchases of fad garbage like the raspberry pi that can't even outrun computers from 1995 in some benchmarks

emulator to play SNES games

buy a controller on amazon

You should stick it up your ass.

third for up the ass

sell it and buy 4 C.H.I.Ps to use in a cluster

I use mine as an NFS file server.

Start the billionth retarded thread about what the fuck can you do with that useless piece of trash

could you bother telling me the worth of this? how useful it is etc?

i feel like I hate having a ton of shit on my pc and this sounds like something i could want.

If you hook it up to a bunch of 1tb+ external hard drives, it could be very useful.

but hows that better than just connecting the drives to my pc

I wanna turn mine into a steam trading card idler/farmer but have no idea how.

The only guide I've found is some probably outdated russian shit

You fell for the Pi meme. Raspberry Pis are for creative folk.

If you only have one PC, then it's not. I find it useful because it gives me an easy way to share documents between my multiple Linux computers.

LAN Minecraft server for up to 5-6 players, just make sure
you run server from the USB because it's faster and more reliable.

Is it possible to use a raspi as a signal repeater?

>ideas as to what i should do with this?
sell it to a normie and buy a better board that
-has SATA
-has gigabit
-doesn't rely completely on USB
-can be operated without non-free crapware
-has a faster processor and more RAM, optionally integrated storage

>mfw my raspi 1 can't handle fucking SNES emulation

Create a dashboard

>buy thing
>what do with thing?!

Make a synthesiser

>install Debian minimal
>install pi-hole

I have mine sat next to my router doing just that.

>-has gigabit
No. Networking: 10/100 Ethernet

nevermind... misread

9GHz wtf

>I have gentoo on mine
mainly torrents and pulseaudio server

literally this
theres no use in having a piratebox unless other people were to use it

your better off just hiding one at a public wifi hotspot and route your dubious traffic through it

What font is that?
Also is it fast? External HDD or just SDcard?

Measures weather variables for research purposes.
Old one runs telegram/twitter bot.

>composite
Disgusting.

So, it's a mini server with a built in bulletin board?

I DD my Pi3.
Havent touched my lappy in years.
Between my phone, Pi3, and XB1, there is no reason for a laptop or desktop

Sick overclock

Monospace Regular. The OS is the SD card, planning on adding some externals. It's fast enough, it's not like I'm using it as a desktop, I don't even have a WM installed. All it's doing is serving files for my network. I may also have it work as a seedbox as well.

And that has 0.001% of the community, software support and guides for RPi. This is by far the biggest benefit. I'd gladly take RPi 3 over any competitor. The only exception is if you really need X feature for Y project and you already have RPi 3. Or if your project doesn't need much processing power, then I'd get something like Arduino clone / same Atmel chip.

Get a better version of the raspberry pi

what does "DD" mean?

daily drive

if you're familiar with linux in general, the "support" is rather meaningless, as it's all just linux stuff which can be applied to anything if you understand what you're doing

double density

agreed.

data duplicator

I know raspberry pi is the most popular of these tiny computers, but what better alternatives are there? I want it to be able to do more without sacrificing too much on size.

>I daily drive my Pi3
Odroid

>I daily drive my Pi3
Yes, that's what he was saying.

daily drive isn't verb, it's like saying I Linux my computer

Where did I say it was proper English?

what's going on here?

you don't linux your computer?

Build a squirrel gun

Looks like an RPi server farm.
