Im trying to figure what class I should take for my 1st programming language in community college. Because I registered a little late , my options are limited to C# and C++ classes.

Would it be better to start with?
Im not fresh out of high school by the way, Im 26

bump

C++

drop and switch

install gentoo

depends on what u wanna do
c# webdev
c++ neet

C++
C# is easier but the language itself isn't as useful, and it won't equip you with the skills you need to learn other languages afterwards

here ya go. fill in the blanks and print it out.

BS...
C++ has too many distractions for a beginner...
Even C# and Java are not beginner languages...
Start with JavaScript or python...

Why?

C++

wow...

C# is easier

Python > C# > C

C++ will make you learn what's going on under the hood which is priceless even when moving to other level languages, but it has therefore a steeper learning curve. If you take it, make a point of making use of the new C++1x features since that's where it's at and college courses are often stuck in the past. C# isn't bad to start with but it depends a lot on where you learning it from.

Avoid typeless memes like as they will only give you bad habits and you'll end up writing pajeet-tier spaghetti code.

If you can start off with Python, go with it. It's a good language to start learning programming and the transition to C++ would be much smoother.

McOuch OP how are you going to recover from this one?

Write a compiler in c or quit now

As a daily C# programmer, start with C++.

C# is for productivity but you need to know the inner workings.

why do you need community college to learn your first programming language? stop letting the government loan you money to learn shit you can learn on the fucking internet. Stop creating debt and letting liberals/socialists hand out money like its fucking candy.
