Birds got some really dickish senses of humor.

what is that dog smoking

dank kush, mane

I give it 20 years.

Try IBM.

How 'bout 144 stack computers?

What architecture?

ask /csg/

good job mr crow

Right now, it's called a GPU

Just buy 50 dualcores

The dog is just being careful.

Cats have tongues like razors and teeth like needles so the crow knows not to feed it.

>buy a 100 core processor
>1 core still does all of the job

You can get a couple of Xeon Phi's, they have around 57 to 72 cores and they use a PCI-E port so you can have more than 1.

You can get 96 threads with POWER8, that's only 12 cores though. I don't know of anything higher

Those are coprocessors

>coprocessors
Still a processor just not a central processor :D

So, with the release of Ryzen, the core wars have begun?

Here's a 96 core
geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-620/specifications

In the future.

what are these used for?

GPUs have thousands of cores already. Why would I want 100?

it knows this situation is really weird but it's too nice and optimistic to turn down the food
also I think the cat did get some food, you can see it licking its lips, cats don't normally do that

they're small white dick cores.

ryzen got those BBC cores.

In the full video the cat gets fed before the dog does, so you're full of shit.

Buy 25 four core processors.

Birds are assholes

>100 core
Never. Cores are in exponents of 2 (2^x)

where are you getting that bullshit from ?
no they aren't

Ask the guys on Cray.com they make decent computers with tons of cores and they have a decent price too, only 97 million dollars for the best one

wrong, theyr are in multiples of 2, with the exception of 1

6 cores CPU exists.
And 1 isn't a multiple of 2.

how would you even cool 100 cores

temps would burn your house down

seriously, go back to Sup Forums

i'm pretty sure there are even some obscure cpus with heterogeneous cores and an odd number of cores

Fug I was going to say multiples of 2s at first, but then I second guessed my self and confused ram with it.

Here you go, 256-core chinese RISC cpu en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunway#Sunway_SW26010

Tilera Tile-96 has 96 cores.

They are all simple in-order processors designed for massive parallel workloads like video compression or network packet to processing.

>xeon phi
>literally a cluster of atoms

intel wtf
