What is the video card and/or CPU you've run as your daily for the longest time?

What is the video card and/or CPU you've run as your daily for the longest time?

This piece of shit on a P4 without a pci-e or AGP slot from 2005 to 2011.

It's an XFX Geforce FX 5200 256mb. Not sure if 256 mb of texture RAM was even useful on PCI.

Oh yeah I had a FX5200 too. It was too slow even for Cod 2 in DirectX9 mode, played fine in dx7 mode though.

I have fond memories of trying to optimize UT2004 settings on this thing for best visuals and a playable framerate.

ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
2002 - 2010

3.4ghz Athlon x4 with a Sapphire 290 Vapor-X. One of the fans on the card shit itself early and it can't push two displays without fucking up (even before one of the fans failed).

I'd blacklist sapphire alone but I'm playing it safe and never using an AMD GPU or Sapphire ever again.

The last video card I bought was a Sapphire HD4890 new. Still using it, so 2009-2017 I guess.

GTX 560 2012/2011 to 2017.
Before that it was an 8400GS
Some shitty voodoo card before that.

Could have at least used a 9400GT PCI

Longest run I've used is probably the 9800GT 512MB from gigabyte that I still use daily at work.

i5 760 and a GTX465 from 2010 to 2014

Literal housefire.

probably my a8-6600k and hd 6670, running it right now, since 2013

Q6600, 2008 until now.

Pentium 4 3.0GHz and ATI Radeon 7000, from somewhere in 2004 to 2012, the PSU died and killed all the build

It had lag playing DotA, the original one

i5-750, 2010 - current
GTX760, 2013 - current

Ati mobility radeon x1300 and AMD Turion 64 mk-36 in a Acer aspire 5100.
I used the laptop from 2005 to 2017

What are you using now?

Athlon X2 5600+ (2008-2016)
CPU is working but I got bored replacing the motherboard and eveything. Now I only use my Sandy Bridge laptop.

Core2 Duo E8335 with an ATi Radeon 2600 Pro, since 2013

Athlon x2 4850e and integrated graphic from 2008/2009 to this year: 8-9 years

Core 2 Duo and integrated nvidia chipset graphic in a MacBook Pro from 2009 to now: 8 years.

my longest runner is a bfg 9600gt with an accelero s1 on it that i just dusted yesterday. it's still in my folks' pc

...

Radeon 4670 (2008-2016). Replaced with the Rx480 8gig.

Passively cooled Radeon 9600XT.

Abandoned drivers killed it in the end.

Sapphire Radeon 9550 256MB.
Still have it lying around somewhere, no motherboard with an AGP slot to put it in though.

>video card
ATi HD 5670

>CPU
Athlon II X3 460

Both: 2011 - ????
Still going strong as my daily, no reason to upgrade.

niice, mine is your pic. its a fx 5600 xt with 256mb vram. used it for 2 years.

Core2 Duo on the integrated graphics, been running non stop for over a decade

It's been collecting dust for some years, but still not as long as it was used.

Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB AGP

2600k for 8 years, 5770 for 6 years

Nvidia GT610 2GB, passive cooling
Since 2010-2011 to January
I built a new PC with a RX480 8GB

Probably this. Card never failed, was just replaced.

All of my cards since then have failed eventually.

phenom ii x6 1090t
&
Sapphire Radeon HD6970

XFX FX 5600. 8 years.

GTX470, 2010 - Fev 2017

Denise and Blitter

GTX670
2012 - Still in use.
