figure out why you enjoyed putting together glorified lego in the first place

Don't put the heatsink in the case.
Make the case become the heatsink.

That's a big heatsink

for you

nice trips you filthy nigger faggot jew

low tpd cpu, passive vga (1050 like) ssd and pasive psu
case with ventilation holes

do it like this guy:

>move to Siberia
>remove all fans
>put PC outside
>????
>PROFIT!

>Put PC in refrigerator
>Monitor on your counter
>Easy access to food and computer at the same time
>No cooling required

this
you have to use newer components, they're too efficient to explain how much it will help if you just want passive cooling. it's much easier to cool multiple efficient components passively than it is to cool multiple inefficient components passively. unless you have a large enclosure to keep the air surrounding them from microwaving each other

Surprisingly, this doesn't actually work. Aside from moisture/condensation issues, fridges cannot deal with large amounts of heat being generated inside them. Unless it is very large

who needs a video card when you can just passive cool bro?

I bet you could take the compressor/radiator and make a phase-change loop that way. No reason you couldn't.

an HR-22 and Ryzen CPU

Ryzen APUs with high speed DDR4 should be fairly capable at 1080p gaming.

There's an entire website dedicated to rating low-acoustic systems, and there are a multitude of articles based entirely on building a completely passive system.

I remember the video of some slav guy doing that for a shitty AMD processor.
The shit worked pretty well.

This seemed like a cool idea until i realized that my hdd makes more noise than the stock intel cpu fan when idling. Maybe if you unly use ssds.

Add a box fan

You don't build

You buy this and live happily ever after. Zero fans. Endorsed by the Linux mint team.

>Airtop can dissipate over 200W by passive cooling – enough to cool a Xeon CPU and a gaming graphics card

Having one large low RPM fan is better than passive cooling.

Yeah it's bretty freeking gud eh ?

If I wasn't perfectly happy with my MBA and quiet i7 desktop I would definately buy one..

>build a table drawer case pc
>now your desk is a heatsink

looks comfty
