3) have a system of "free" currency for ad viewing, combine this with an extremely tiny add bar popup that doesn't really interfere with the game but also have an "ad free" purchase option for a really low price (99 cents). Program said popup to rarely show up the first day/first several hours. You want the first impression to be as smooth as possible.
4) have your game have idle benefits that are easy/no impact on battery life but are just enough to not justify letting the game play itself. Makes people feel that they are always "playing" the game while still having meaningful input when actually playing.
5) have daily and weekly rewards let the weekly rewards act as a sort of "absense forgiveness" for someone who fails to log in every day while still offering daily incentives.
