Let's assume I want to pirate Super Mario Run by bypassing that surprise purchase screen.
How does pirating .apk files (mostly the ones that are games) in general works?

Should I buy a Samsung 530u-i5 at 210 USD?

What is the best hosting solution and domain registrar for a blog & personal site?

Fullscreen applications keep changing my gamma calibration setting in Windows 10. Is there any way to keep this from happening?

So I got a porn folder full of webms, like everybody else.
Some with sound, some without.
I wanna separate those with sound from those without, like display them the way you do between "sizes" or "lengths".
How to.

make a script that runs ffprobe and sorts them based on the output

why does Sup Forums hate the oneplus 5?

Fucking ALSA -- I'm on Debian Stretch and can't hear shit. Should I just get Pulse Audio?
I am aware of this "nowto" for ALSA but I don't even know what a kernel is.
alsa-project.org/~valentyn/Alsa-sound-mini-HOWTO-2.html
Why does everything have to be so complicated in linux-land? This is terribly frustrating.

Cause they've never had sex.

I just hate oneplus for the autistic invite begging spam

Youtube is giving me this weird frame. I've run a scan with malwarebytes and nothing's coming up. Any idea what could be causing it?

Just download the apk from shady ad-ridden websites and pray it doesn't send your IMEI to a remote location before gaining root privileges and installing format-resistent malware on your android device, that is all.

>so hard
Its not hard,if you dont know how to do something, look it up.
Use the arch wiki for alsa

How would I make a fan speed reducer for a PWM fan? All I need to do is get like a 10ohm resistor and run it through the 12v line, right?

I know you can buy them but they are like 27ohm's and up which is too much for what I want, I just need to be able to make 1 fan from a 3 way splitter stop spinning while the other two don't.

What frame? The broken advertisement? Can't you just close it and ignore it?

Click that red x you dumbfuck

Yeah, but I'd like to know what's causing it. My AdBlock usually blocks all YouTube Ads.

Just realized it was my shitty proxy extension. Nevermind on this thing

Ah fuck, how do I wrote a resume Sup Forums? A local tech shop is finally hiring

Is it worth going to college for CS if you're bad at math?
I've been a neet for a bit and I'm not very confident in my own skills but computers are the only thing I'm interested in, so I don't mind buckling down and studying. I just don't want to waste my parents money if it's really hard stuff because I'm a brainlet

What am i looking at here and how do I fix this?

Go to /r/ITCareerQuestions and copy some of the resumes people have posted there.

forgot to rotate

I've been fapping and collection H and JAVs for a long time but want to start building up western porn, too. I know I'll need a VPN and have my sights on NordVPN, is this a good idea or should I use something else? I'll only be using the VPN for torrenting.

What should I be looking for in/for routers and lan adapters to minimize lag in games?

That's not correlated to actual speed past like 10mbps, right? So what metric should I be looking at?

Also, does anybody just have more information about the topic in general they'd be willing to link me?

It looks a lot like 10base-2 ethernet stuff. 10Mbps ethernet, but over coax, not UTP. It was a thing in the mid-90s (which is when IBM was using that font, too)

have you considered a seedbox instead? That's generally the better option if the only thing you want is torrenting.

Well the way to have the lowest possible latency is to use wired ethernet. Wireless always adds a bit of latency, but it's usually not very significant. The main source of problems is too many devices trying to talk at once - seen in homes with lots of devices yammering on one network, or in apartment blocks with lots of overlapping networks. Other than that any router that's good in general will be good for gaming, you don't need special Razer-grade equipment.

I'm going to be looking shit up for hours; this is definitely not easy.

Why is it important for audio servers to have real-time low latency scheduling? What makes audio servers so special compared to virtually anything else that doesn't require sensory data and such? Is this just some audiophile bullshit?

p-pls respond

>Well the way to have the lowest possible latency is to use wired ethernet.

Right, but in terms of choosing which compenents to accomplish this, such as what model router, or, when connecting game consoles, what ethernet/lan adapters, what should I be checking to make sure it's as low latency as possible relative to other models

Well, here's the thing: I opted to get SMR from APKMirror, was able to install it and play normally, but it still needed for me to pay.
I made some research and found this kind of method to crack the game.
youtube.com/watch?v=lL8zyUN1AeQ
While it shows it works, I'm VERY doubtful it's safe, especially with how you need to install third party garbage apps just for some way to bypass the purchase screen.
Not only would I love to confirm if this is actually safe, but I would also like to be sure if that's really how you pirate .apk files.

bakari

Just unmute it.

There's nothing to check really. As long as you're sticking to ethernet and avoiding wifi, pretty much anything works well. Wifi is where shit gets wonky. You probably want to look up the instructions for port forwarding a given model before you buy it, so you can be sure there's no weirdness. Also if you're competing with a lot of other traffic/torrents/etc on the network, you might want something you can flash LEDE/OpenWRT on, so you can minimize bufferbloat. That takes a little more savvy than average though.

I'm pirating win10 LTSB right now. it supposedly doesn't have any of that crap. I'll see if it works.

Grab a smaller one out of some shitty old electronics you don't use anymore.

>confirm if this is actually safe
Yeah no. I'd bet 10 to 1 it's got malware in it. That's why most pirated software is released. The question is how capable it is of fucking up your device, and how much you care. You should care, btw. There's plenty of reasons why having that shit nested in your phone is terrible.

...

>There's nothing to check really
What if I told you even a 1% difference matters because I play games competitively and go out to major regional tournaments and everything, and I really need that as minimal lag experience as possible?

>lso if you're competing with a lot of other traffic/torrents/etc on the network, you might want something you can flash LEDE/OpenWRT on, so you can minimize bufferbloat. That takes a little more savvy than average though.

Wouldn't just making sure your ISP/router supports a high bandwidth accomplish this?

would getting a new hard drive fix this? it's a t410.

Do you have an external hard drive dock? Take out the hard drive and see if it's readable in one of those

i dont

Switches and routers, what's the difference? Should I move to a switch? Can you flash the firmware on a switch?

Switches connect LAN devices, routers connect devices on a LAN to the WAN (the Internet).

??
easy way to find out? I know the 2.0ghz model one works.

thanks user

>Wouldn't just making sure your ISP/router supports a high bandwidth accomplish this?

No, that's not really what bufferbloat is about. It's possible to not be fully saturating your internet connection and still see a big latency increase. It has to do with how shitty most queing is. You can go to dslreports.com/speedtest, switch on the HD bufferbloat test and get an idea if there's a problem. I'd run it a few times, especially when your network is busiest.

Beyond that kind of software feature (QOS, port forwarding, etc), there's basically no difference between wired routers. The thing that drives sales is wireless. Otherwise you could run latency tests and not be able to tell if you were using the latest $200 router, or a 10 year old unit for $20. You just need gigiabit ethernet, and ideally a separate modem from your router, as combo units (gateways) tend to be flaky. Make sure if your modem has router capabilities you disable them.

Classic Shell, or Start10 (the latter is my personal favorite).

Try booting up a portable OS and running a S.M.A.R.T. test on the drive. If you don't have any experience with linux, use this

mega.nz/#F!qx9iSbKB!tf9hqOYjJqzo6mGvFbKSDQ

If you're competitive then get a dedicated connection and wire directly into the modem. If it's that important to you then pay for it. You don't need a fast connection either.

If you don't have enough ethernet ports on your router, then you could attach a switch to it to add more.

Burn it with fire! (T410 owner here)

which VPN is the best cost/features/performance ratio?

torrenting is a must btw

You don't need anything special for P2P. Just get PIA on a yearly deal when it goes on sale.

I'll look into this, thanks.
How come?

>suddenly, HDMI audio from my GPU is crackling
Don't know what to do here boys. I've Googled it, I've tried all the shit to "reduce the latency", I've tried switching PCI-E ports, I've tried different HDMI ports, other devices have no problem with HDMI audio to the TV, running a stereo audio cable tot he TV has no crackling. So I know it's the GPU causing the problem. It worked fine for literally years, but now suddenly it just wants to fuck me all up. Can't replicate it well, either. Some days the audio is fine, some days it's not. I'm saying, the fucking issue is actually smart enough to say "I don't feel like working today" because even a computer restart doesn't fix it. The only thing I can think of that would be consistent through a restart is that the GPU is still hot, but like I said, this has never been an issue before and I can't see any overheating problems or anything.

It's an old shit chinkpad.
>hard to disassemble
>it's chink

By "it" I mean your console. Get a dedicated, preferably fiber connection.

Is DD-WRT still relevant or are there better and more compatible alternatives around?

So I need a little bitcoint. What's the cheapest, safest way to get a wallet? I only need 0.0020 BTC

Why does my DVD drive keep opening and closing at random times on its own?

How hard would it be to have some kind of always-listening voice activated device to perform some action whenever it hears my cat meow? Theoretically it shouldn't be any harder to respond on a meow than it would be to the voice commands people usually do would it?

In theory I can bang peta jensen

theory means nothing

sub7

I don't think that's right, because I did anti-virus scans recently, and there was a time when I tried to close it by pressing the button after it had opened, and it didn't respond at all.

i see lots of people recommending python for beginners, but does it worth to learn as a second/third language?

So i recorded some things into this cheap $30 camera I got off Amazon.

However I lost the camera and it looks like it uses some proprietary filesystem? I boot it into Linux and it can't read the files or the filesystem.

wat do?

Is there a list of keyboard shortcuts for KeePass anywhere? I know I can open the database with ctrl+alt+k and then focus the search bar with ctrl+e but don't know how to bring the focus back down to the results pane so I can auto-type it without needing to use the mouse.

been fucking about with this for last day..
all I'm trying to do is have a button that when pressed echos "hey", this is all from same .php file. first the top is all in
it echos fine when outside the if statement

if (isset($_POST['submitaddr'])) {

echo"hey";

}

then outside the php tag in the html I have

Submit

obviously my intention here is to do more but this just isn't printing. I'm generaly shit when it comes to coding but I have an idea I want to complete.. my thinking is, maybe it wont echo cos its a static page (I tried putting header redirect code in the if but nothing happened), or maybe the php only runs once, but I have no idea so any help appreciated, and if need be ill post more of code to explain. using bootstrap css btw

Oh nevermind, as usual figured it out moments after coming to ask, can just hit tab twice.

I am running windows 10 and have a ps3 webcam but it is not working. the mic is working but the video it self is not, I have installed the drivers and install flash on both firefox and chrome but it still is not letting me record video.

instead of
use

Buy a real webcam then

am doing yes

It's simple. But OpenWRT is better, if a little harder to figure out. Go with LEDE if you can. There was talk about them re-merging with OpenWrt, but I don't think they have. At any rate the branch should stay supported.

I remember reading about how some Android browsers like UC and Dolphin make use of the stock browser webkit or webview or something like that. The point is the rendering is done by stock android components. Other browsers like Firefox and Opera use their own rendering engines, so basically theyre "self contained" or all included to put it that way, the experience is always the same. Does anyone know if Chrome and Yandex for Android use their own rendering engines or do they use Androids webkit/webview?

ok, do you have a form with method="post"?

you have to use special driver for like 2.99 that works.

They haven't yet. Probably this year though...

thanks so much. I had to use

not sure if thats good or not but seems to work.
I was reading though that a client couldn't call php they had to use ajax or jsquery, this went over my head somewhat but, is that true in this instance? I do have jsquery included (most of this code is hacked together from some user account code on git)

I've had my HTPC and game consoles hooked up through ethernet for a while, but I'm looking to move them upstairs.

If I was to use a spare WiFi router as a repeater / access point, and then attach the PC and consoles to this repeater through ethernet, would it be a better connection than just using the built in wifi of the gaming consoles and possibly relieve wifi congestion, or is this adding unnecessary steps?

Make a Tumblr, Blogger, Weebly, Wordpress, etc and use any shitty URL registrar desu

Best thing is to run a single ethernet cable between the routers. Usually not as hard as you think.

In the meantime (e.g. waiting for a super long ethernet cable to ship) would it be better?

I've had a lot of problems with DD-WRT. The routers I've used were never completely compatible and a lot of it's features didn't always work in the beta versions.

I've since switched to pfSense and it's night and day compared to DD-WRT. Everything works and works extremely well. pfSense does require x86 hardware though, so you'll either need to re-purpose an old desktop or pickup a relatively expensive x86 router.

I've just installed Ubuntu in Virtualbox, but I have no Internet connection in it. My host machine is Debian Stretch. I have Kali installed in Virtualbox and it's working fine. How can I enable Internet in this Ubuntu VM?

Use it in bridge mode. Either way you will add latency, but repeater mode will kill gaming performance.

Or just get a powerline ethernet adapter and buy a cheap switch. I set my friend up this way and he will never go back to wireless.

any ideas why changing the config hasn't changed the fetch output?
