Why does flux suck ass so much?

It starts working after the sun has already set and doesn't allow to apply the filter manually. I have to change my location just to have bare bone functionality.
wtf is this shit

I dont need flux anymore after the Windows 10 Creators Update

Is the Windows one better? Ive used f.lux so long now

Weird thread.

What DE are you using?

I've used Unity, Cinammon and GNOME and I was able to set it manually in all three.

The Windows one doesn't work.
To appeal to normies, it doesn't even remotely eliminate most blues. Same with Apples one.

Stick with F.Lux and Redshift.

Get the beta version, it works flawlessly.

It'd be fine and functional if introduced the ability for it to shift gradually like f.lux does, but it doesn't.

Until it does, I'm sticking with f.lux.

I'm using Redshift in Lunix and it works perfectly fine

GNOME now has this feature built in.

Try the buttons on your monitor.

Windows does too.
f.lux is a piece of shit that causes flicker and vsync issues, fuck it.

Why doesn't Microsoft just buy flux then?

Maybe we could meme them into doing so but sending Microsoft feedback and tell them to buy flux.

>my ASUS PB278Q has 4 modes
>doesnt even get to 3600k
just gonna stick with f.lux

fuck off, I'm not falling for the stretching jew, and I'd have to stretch every morning and evening to reach the buttons, that's twice a day
we have programs to automate shit for a reason
