Battery dent

Alright Sup Forums, I'm switching my iPhone 5's battery, and I just noticed it came with a tiny dent, I already tested it and it just works.

Do you think it's dangerous? I don't want it to explode on me.

Install Gentoo Gahnoo+Linucks.

have you seriously never seen a dented/worn battery?

yeah, my old battery was totally fucked and deformed, but should I worry with this "new" one?

You want me to die user-kun? :c

Don't worry, Apple will pay for your death.

>non oem replacement
Don't worry about the dent, it will stop working before the dent becomes an issue

This is my second non OEM replacement, last one worked fine for 1 year, so I'm fine with it.

>I already tested it and it just works.
>it just works
:^)

based Apple

If you bought it new then return that shit.
As long as the casing isn't torn or broken through then it should be fine.

its literally fine

But the Note 7 exploded because of shit like this didn't it?

>Aftermarket Chink shit battery

Don't worry, the dent won't be the reason it explodes

>it came with a tiny dent
Nope, you made that dent went trying to open the phone with the wrong tool, I see marks on the edge of the phone in the very same spot, caused by your lack of care when you did this.
Yes. It may explode sooner or later.

those marks are from drops, I use a plastic tool to open it.

>casing
What casing?
