Os released in 2001 is better than all Linux distros

>os released in 2001 is better than all Linux distros

Well once you achieve perfection it's hard to achieve it again. Realistically, though, XP still wasn't without its flaws.

give arguments or you're a liar OP

t. grew up using XP

What arguments?
>Can play more games than loonix
>everything works
>consistent design
>better drivers
>can actually get shit done
>dont have to use the terminal

Works fine with 100MB of RAM in a VM, unlike Linux.

xp was comfy af but it's a malware magnet and fairly unusable nowadays

go ahead and install manjaro kde. each of your arguments is invalid

pre-sp2 maybe, but even so that's gonna be swapping like crazy. linux can swap too you know

Who in the world is still developing malware for XP?

Well, considering 5% of desktop users are still using XP, that's a non-insignificant number.

Hell, when a recent wave of Ransomwares hit, Microsoft had to push out an emergency hotfix for XP users.

just a friendly reminder that peoples having problems with Linux are gaymer and tec illeterate.

Don't try to escape from you island if you can't swim.

Can be avoided by a proper firewall.

...

>os released in 2016 isn't
Isn't that sad?

>implying Win10 malware won't affect XP systems

i love XP today, i hated it when it came out because bloat and malware galore. But because it got better it doesn't mean it is better. You can't use a XP install online as much as you'd like to. Because the new malware is also backwards compatible.

It has no security. Nothing is protecting it from old malware.

a) that's a pretty subjective thing to say
b) in many situations it's entirely wrong
c) it's pretty good bait because i still replied

It's vulnerable to anything.

source: your ass

XP sucked for the first 4 years

>unlike Linux.
not true

>OS is made up of complicated software modules interacting with each other
>On top of all that complexity, a GUI is built

You're literally judging a book by it's cover...

Why are threads like this allowed?

Autorun.inf is located on a cd? Let's completely trust it and execute it without asking the user. I had a lot of fun with that one in high school.

I had to ditch X to be able to do anything at all. Still it booted like 5 times longer than XP.

why would you go on the internet and tell lies?

with 100M ram set

Boy, you are completely full of shit.

Remember all those fucky winsock breakages? Remember that NT kernel update that broke booting so you needed to use WinPE to get to a CLI and uninstall the update? Remember all the AD DS regressions? It had all the same issues Linux does.

You're out of your element, Donny.

>Remember all those fucky winsock breakages?
No
>Remember that NT kernel update that broke booting so you needed to use WinPE to get to a CLI and uninstall the update?
No?
>Remember all the AD DS regressions?
Nope
>It had all the same issues Linux does.
Hahaha no.

Spotted the fifteen year old kid who wasn't actually around for XP.

...

No, I started on DOS

Well, you must have skipped the years 2001-2009 then.

win2k was/still is better
>serious UI (XP was ugly, classic theme was not consistent, custom themes were all tuning tier horror)
>even lighter
>only lack a good web browser

iirc it's no longer beneficial to use n+1 make jobs, due to scheduler advances, simply n will do

wow it's nothing

>Winshit XP
>better drivers
>everything works
>t. has never used Windows XP

It's a broken, bluescreening piece of shit that has the worst looking UI. GNU/Linux is more advanced that Windows 10 at this point. Saged, because this is a thinly veiled advertising thread.

Clover OS does. Try using a GNU/Linux distro from 2001 to 2005 if you're comparing to XP, retard.
