Pronouncing GUI as gooey

>pronouncing GUI as gooey

You guys don't actually do this do you?

graphical ooey

>mfw americans pronounce GUI as gooey
>mfw americans pronounce .gif as dot yiff
>mfw americans call portable radios walkie talkies

It's pronounced gee you i Interface.

Yes, I happen to call it that way. Fight me.

How do you pronounce it, sperglord?

It's a
>Graphical gooye interface

what happened here

it's a graphical GUI gooey interface

why is your font rendering so shit

If I'm going to use the acronym then I'll just say "gee you eye" but in normal speech I'd just say graphical interface.

he knows

Time travel

Are you using serif fonts? What the fuck is wrong with you?

Windows 7

classic Burichan style, are you new here?

It looks terrible.

why are you using Burichan instead of Yotsuba B? it's fucking ugly

out of habit

I didn't like Yotsube B when it was introduced, and I still don't like it now

Serif fonts are for gays

sans-serif fonts are for stupid hippies

I speak in abbreviations because real life conversation moves too slow

two letter text
translation next

i pr it as goy you bunch of goys
but im russian what do i know

хyй

I say graphical interface or just interface, depending on the context of the conversation.
A of things are shortened and turned into an acronym and they are useful when you type it, but it doesn't make sense to do it in conversation.

gee-yuu-ayy lmao

fuck off, you putin motherfucker
ENGRISH, DO YOU SPEAK it?

>He pronounces SQL as "Sequel"

The correct pronunciation is actually
Goo-Hy

English doesn't have russian "х" which makes this joke pointless

educate yourself dumass

no u

>Burichan
ayyyyy my man! fuck the haters

It's pronounced gee-you-eye. Most acronyms are pronounced that way.

i say jew-ey

g=j like in giraffe

>gee-you-eye
No it's not.
It's pronounced
Goo-he

if gif is pronounced jiff, gui is obviously pronounced jewy.

an acronym is by definition an abbreviation that you pronounce like a word
you're thinking of abbreviations in general

The fucking kikes I knew it.

I pronounce GUI as good-yeeh
and gif as gief because it's fucking graphical

There is no reason in 2017 to even distinguish something as a GUI

this

>he pronounces SCSI as skuzee

>pronouncing C# as See Sharp

I shiggy digeridoo

>Ca-pound symbol
Fucking wot?

skuhzee
geweey
jiff

thought this was Sup Forums, but it seems like /normieniggers/

i actually used to say C hash. I want to die.

>sea hashtag

>not calling it jip-peg
>thinking you can pronounce the first letter but then pronounce the rest of the word
>people unironically spreading bad habits and wrong pronunciations

>gooey interface

Have since 1995 and always will

it's pronounced like "guy"

I call it gumi interface.

How do you do it then?

>tfw my instructor in uni says these unironically

I bet you guys spell out WYSIWYG

it means he's not american

>D flat
:^)

Most times the recipient can infer the "graphical" from context, so I vocalise "You I" as in UI. I seldom say "Graphical You I"

>not soctothorpe

gayuij

Kek

CS master here; this is what they taught me indeed.

>not coctothorpe

LDAP

ell-dap

Is it
>see PLUS plus
or
>see plus PLUS
?
