You can define the curve and specific frequency with a parametric eq as opposed to the standard graphical one so you can pretty much cover a certain frecuency where you know or feel that your headphones can use some improvement and tune that without touching nearby frequencies.
It's useful for me to improve some highs without making everything brighter which i can't do on typical graphical phone EQs where it goes from 4khz to 8khz and then 14khz.
