Can we have a semi serious Brexit thread?

Can we have a semi serious Brexit thread?
A few places have called it already, and this isn't just a meme anymore.

What does this actually mean for the Europe and the world at large?
Will the EU punish Britain to keep others from leaving?

All I know is shit will go down

If Britian stays, it just goes to show they're EU's bitch, more so than the Cyprus thefts.

If they leave, EU might want to consider some soul searching beginning with getting rid of useless bureaucrats.

...

This is not a binding referendum, this is just a first step there are many more hurdles Brexit needs to overcome to actually leave, Cameron will probably step down and the Leave Tory faction will take over.

They will then have to start negotiating with the EU on how the UK could leave, and you can be sure that Germany and France are not going to give them anything. They will try to make it so painful no one else will ever think about this again.

you can't barrage the farage :^)

>What does this actually mean for the Europe and the world at large?

According to Soros their currency is FUCKED

Keep in mind he made billions by speculating on that exact thing happening once before

I don't understand why they would want to leave. Aren't there a bunch of benefits to being in the EU?

I'm hearing it called for Brexit.

I'm so proud of them. I'm old enough to remember visiting London when there wasn't a kebab in sight. Its always been painful knowing I saw a London their own children can only dream of.

My warmest congratulations to them all. This could be the Western turn we have been waiting for.

I wonder, is this vote law binding to your government? do they have to act accodring to the result of the referendum or will they be able to ignore it?

Hold the fuck up, so it's actually confirmed already? Not just projections anymore?

>I'm old enough to remember visiting London when there wasn't a kebab in sight.

80? Also you realize the demographics of London are going to be the same, just with less Poles right?

it's to be confirmed at 7:30 AM in the UK

The can ignore it, but there's a big enough force within the government to ensure that it'll go through

ignoring it would split the party and destroy voter confidence

BBC are calling it. The votes aren't all in though

They can ignore it the vote, but if they do, the Tories are going to be eaten alive. A new party that will actually go through with the vote will take power.

Technically the government can ignore it because parliament gets the final say over anything ever in the UK (no constitution lol).

In reality, however, the government isn't going to ignore this vote. Cameron's legitimacy is built upon him respecting the outcome of this referendum.

don't care if UK stays in EU or not I want Corbyn to save the country

GOD SPEED NIGEL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should warn the Brits what America went through when Jackson finally drove out the central bank, which is similar to this.

The banks deliberately sabotaged the economy and tried to blame Jackson who spent both his terms to beat them. They made life a misery, but he did defeat them.

The EU is still pissed at Iceland for telling them to fuck off.

The EU has to end. If not, they will be back for a re-vote after creating misery. Count on it.

For now, enjoy the victory and use this time to advance, advance, advance. Victory is possible.

Congratulations, you are sovereign and (somewhat) free, at least more than yesterday.

6/23/16 - A glorious day.

All the leftists and pro-EU faggots are crying right now saying the brexit will crash the markets and cause dat racis bullshit but we all know this is a baby step towards a new future for Britain. Now that Britbong is no longer in a bureaucratic circlejerk in Brussels, Britain will have more independence in making their own policies and decisions in terms of economics, immigration, and laws. They will become the new Switzerland but only if they know what they are doing. Hopefully Based Nigel will become PM and that cucklord Cameron will remove himself back to Brussels.

It really is a case of action. If the EU does nothing, then it means that the EU is just the economic / political club that everyone thought it was. If action is taken, it could end up like a European Civil War.

Honestly the likely event is that no action is taken, and the process of leaving drags on, and on, until another referendum vote is pushed.
It's going to be a funny sort of bureaucracy bullshit.

No, 43.

I dont follow you. Did I imply some fast demographic change?

They've done it, the absolute madmen

Seriously though, I'm surprised. Yesterday people were absolutely sure it would be Remain. What happened, Britain?

CHAOS
Don't get me wrong, it's great to be sovereign again, but this is definitely the time to panic

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACISM

>They will try to make it so painful no one else will ever think about this again.

This might happen but it would very short sighted in terms of getting new members into the EU. Unless your desperate why join something that might fuck you in the ass if you try to leave?

I hope this will be a sign to Merkel and the rest of Europe. That bitch managed to destroy all of Europe in just a few years. Maybe if more countries leave, maybe the world will turn around.

Aye, but Muhslims (who are non-EU migrants anyway). Honestly, the population have been fed nothing but muslims murderers for years, they believe that they are the sole killers in the world, and that has made a very frightened people.

In other news, Scotland has voted overwhelmingly to Remain. It was said that if Scotland were to be dragged out of the EU against it's wishes, that could easily trigger a second referendum.

We wanted the UK. We wanted the EU. We can't have both, we must now choose between them.

Personally, I would drop the UK in a heartbeat to stay with the EU. Last time we voted to stay with them, we got fuck all that we were promised. In the General Election, we voted for a left-government. We got the Conservatives. We voted to Remain, we got Leave. Our political ideas are simply not in-line with the UK, and it's in neither of our interests.

I just hope France will follow.
The current EU is a joke.
It needs to be rebuilt completely.

They fucked up. It was short-sighted both to call the referendum (especially when Cameron had to resort to murdering an MP) and to vote leave. The turmoil is gigantic. GBP is now toilet paper, the cheap labor force goes away and so does big finance. Children-raping muzzies stay, because they are citizens of their beloved Commonwealth. 800000 Poles in London stage an insurrection and rape the queen.

The pound is already falling in value

Invest in gold before it goes into complete freefall

kys

Let's just be grateful. I'm very proud of them.

France will never recover from the EU's damage though :(

If the dumb faggots didn't cover up muslim shitfests after shitfests, they'd be staying

they did it it to themselves

One of the EU's biggest economies is about to leave.
Imagine if Texas or California left the U.S. As much as we would like to claim otherwise, the U.S. Economy would be severely fucked and hampered by this.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA FUCK YOU MERKEL

THANK YOU BRITS

Global Recession
Europe will break apart
Poorer states will be poorer overall
Richer States will be richer overall

England will never recover

This right here.
Any word on how northern Ireland might take this? Is UK just unquestionably kill?

Huge swathes of Labour territory went Leave. I'd be shocked if Corbyn keeps his job after this.

There's nobody to join now except for shitty Yugoslav countries. The EU is going to go full damage-control and try to fuck the UK as hard as possible to keep Italy, Netherlands, or some other important cunt from leaving.

Texas economy would be even more fucked

>One of the EU's biggest economies is about to leave.
UK is less relevant than Italy in the EU.

>not a binding referendum

It essentially is.

>We wanted the UK. We wanted the EU. We can't have both, we must now choose between them.

You're not going to have either pretty soon. If/when you escape the UK the EU will be falling apart, not taking new members.

>Imagine if Texas or California left the U.S.

I came

>No, 43.

London, before you were born. Well, a bit out the way of it but there were plenty of areas that looked like this in the 50s/60s. youtube.com/watch?v=baChcN_ZJIQ

>I dont follow you. Did I imply some fast demographic change?

Why did you bring up the demographics of London in a brexit thread then?

The EU GDP just barely matches the US.

It will now lose 2.6 trillion dollars. Putting the EU in a weaker position.

The EU will lose prowess in the financial sector without London. Giving the US an even stronger hand.

The EU will lose British innovation, hurting the already shitty EU tech environment.

The UK will hurt at first but it has a huge opportunity to benefit from it if they play their cards right.

California could survive maybe. Texas couldn't

they would put crippling trade tarrifs on food going in. We're about to see this

Fuck off then cunt

>play their cards right.
A country that can't even feed itself without imports has no cards to play.

Not to mention China might start going hard on EU too... heheheheheheheh HAHAHAHHAA

>tfw uk will once again save europe from the krauts

>The EU will lose prowess in the financial sector without London

Honey Londons Financial Sector is about to go bottoms up. 60-80% of the deposits are from EU Nationals; Saudi Arabians, and Russians; and they don't want to keep it there when the GBP is tanking. The EU's want to repatriatize that money before they get tarrifed on using it.

>The UK will hurt at first but it has a huge opportunity to benefit from it if they play their cards right.

That's a pretty big if. The EU is fucked for sure. The UK is going to have to survive massive political upheaval and possible Balkanization before it can succeed.

Is there some way I can make money off of the plummeting GBP?

>Wales
You and your kin sold yourselves out as funny talking English men centuries ago, you don't have the right to speak to me.

Most likely. Northern Ireland will probably stick with the Union, because it's just that kind of place, although I'd expect more Sinn Fein support in an attempt to return to the EU.

In that case, we get independence anyway, and a new EU will come back soon enough. Lots of people liked where it was, just not where it's currently going.

I will, when the vote comes round. I can't exactly show up at my polling station now and wait for a hypothetical vote.

EU sounds screwed

It's all going according to plan mein leibchen

Japan seems to do it.

And the UK did it before the EU just fine.

And thanks for highlighting the best part of all of this. The EU Federalists are going to be salty af while they watch an ex EU country survive just fine.

Buy them now, sell them later.

Fuck I'm terrified lads.

Go fuck off slavshit

Buy GBPs when the price looks like it's going to stabilize.

Sell off on the rebound.

There's always yo-yos in currency markets, because most people who play currency are risk adverse lemmings.

FUCK ANGELA MERKEL

I think that means that I'll have to get a fucking visa everytime I want to travel in Europe.

Why do these dumb cucks keep on saying this is a "wake up call"?
How many fucking wake up calls do you need?
People are clearly sick of politicians perpetually demeaning those that disagree with them as uneducated, racist and confused.
Yet every single remain cuckold that has spoken so far has essentially said, "this is a wake up call. The people who voted leave did not know what they were doing, they are confused... " etc

Honestly nothing will wake these cucks from their delusions

You have to thank Merkel and fanatical left for this.

There needs to be moderation in everything,
Multiculturalism.
Socialism.
LGBBQ rights.

You cannot just shove shit down people's throats.

>Scottish and Irish leaders stating they want to remain in the EU
Nice """""""United"""""" Kingdom ya got there lads

Unlikely. Americans don't.

You'll just need a passport.

Japan doesn't import that much food they do a shitload of agricultural work. UK would never do what they do. They literally use land that costs 300k per acre to produce rice crops because of how much that matters to them.

>LGBBQ rights.
But brits always loved that also pedophile celebrities.

Why would that be? does a Swiss or a Norwegian have to get Visa? an American?

USD STRONK AS FUCK
USA USA USA

USD THE MOST POWERFUL CURRENCY IN THE WORLD

>Japan

Their currency has been deflating for 20 years and their economy is stagnated. What is that for an example?

nah, we will. Remember, they want an example made of us. We're about to become the bully victim of what may still be the most powerful economy in the world.

Northern Ireland voted stay as well, just not by the roughly 2:1 margin Scotland did. Most young voters across England were predicted to vote stay as well. It's predominantly old racists and Eurosceptics in the south that are fucking the rest of us, content to drag down future generations that'll actually have to LIVE with their retarded decision.

Exit from the EU has to be done by treaty. If the SNP pushes through a second referendum quickly enough and passes, Scottish independence can be put on the list of things that are required in order to negotiate that treaty. It can also be a requirement to renegotiate the "UK"s trade deals with the EU: otherwise in two years the trade deals fall apart and you get NOTHING, good DAY sirs.

Hopefully the shock of realizing that they're going to lose Scotland for sure and probably Northern Ireland if the Irish have their way will cause a revolt in government, and a few MPs will rethink the situation. Otherwise there's probably not going to be a UK in a few years' time.

>Why do these dumb cucks keep on saying this is a "wake up call"?

Denial is one hell of a drug m8.

>mfw Argies do a sneak attack on Falklands.

No it won't you twat.

>(who are non-EU migrants anyway)
Good luck travelling directly from MENA to GB with their boats. Their entire modus operandi is to exploit the free movement within the EU by crossing the Mediterranean, then going wherever they want by means of human trafficking.

The worst thing for them is that they now have the Germans calling all the shots without real opposition.

I don't even want to know what the EU will be like 20 years from now.

All I know is what I saw in the mid eighties. There were not kebabs everywhere. At most, I saw some Spanish tourists. I dont know what you're talking about. I am talking about London. If you think I was spending my time roaming Camden, you're nuts. I am sure they had some areas but no, they did not consume the city. You seem to be implying it was the same as if I should doubt my own eyeballs. I know what the hell I saw and I dont know why you are grousing about it.

Just like I dont know why you are obsessing about the kebab statement. I was simply alluding to how borders have gotten softer as the EU advances. They claim they dont micromanage domestic politics, and yet when anyone from Italy and France to Poland or Switzerland makes a move to keep foreigner from pouring in, the EU is the first to bitch and threaten penalties over it.

Go rage blindly at someone else over whatever the hell you are being so defensive about. I dont wanna hear it.

>that german

i thought she was speaking welsh for a second

>Honestly the likely event is that no action is taken, and the process of leaving drags on, and on, until another referendum vote is pushed.
>It's going to be a funny sort of bureaucracy bullshit.
Yeah. I really can't imagine they'll leave in the end, bureaucracy exists to let politicians get away with what they want even when the people disagree with them. EU needs a spanking though, or more specifically Brussels and Germany need a spanking.

Idk, since the UK will leave the EU wouldn't we need visas to travel to countries in EU zone?

This is good news for us Amerifat travelers. With Great Britain wanting to leave the EU, the Pound, Euro, and other country's currencies that are under the rule of Great Britain (CAD) are all falling. Couldn't have come at a better time since I am going to Montreal this Sunday. Thank you Great Britain for fucking up your economy and making it cheap for us Amerifats.

With you gone it definitely won't be. They are only a little more important than we are for your trade, you'll just have to pivot towards the anglosphere.

ANGELA MERKEL FOR THE GUILLOTINE 2016.

Fug. Will this become an EU-wide thing

This desu. Everyone was calling it the Fourth Reich before, but now it really will be, assuming it doesn't fall apart completely. I mean, who's going to challenge Germany, the French?

Depends on how UK negotiates their exit terms. Switzerland has all the benefits of Schengen Visas without being a member of the EU. However, they never had to leave.

Guys tell me how to become the next Soros.

faggot

Ireland will vote on reunification; Scotland will vote for independence; UK renamed Kingdom of England and Wales.
The UK as a world power is in serious danger. This is the time for literal madness, this is such a crazy event that any proposal after this will seem, by contrast, relatively sane. Terrifying times ahead.

Britain Votes to Leave the European Union

nytimes.com/2016/06/25/world/europe/britain-brexit-european-union-referendum.html?_r=0

"LONDON — Britain has voted to leave the European Union, a historic decision sure to reshape the nation’s place in the world, rattle the Continent and rock political establishments throughout the West.

With all but a handful of the country’s cities and towns reporting Friday morning, the Leave campaign held a 52 percent to 48 percent lead. The BBC called the race for the Leave campaign shortly before 4:45 a.m., with 13.1 million votes having been counted in favor of leaving and 12.2 million in favor of remaining."

They managed to cross the Med. The channel will be literal childs play. That, and the French don't want them there. Now they're just going to be "distracted" while the Muslims scramble in to a dinghy and land on Dover.

Switzerland is a special snowflake. Everyone understands that and treats them nicely.

Britain is a traitor and the EU is going to try and fuck them as savagely as possible, lest Italy or someone else get any funny ideas.

Just woke up.
As a forex shitter I am literally giddy with excitement right now.
If all goes according to keikaku by next weekend I will be a rich man thanks to Brexit and USD.

>Ireland will vote on reunification
The queen would be sooner assassinated than that will happen.

So what happens in scotland now? They voted to remain...
