Just install the ubongo mate image and use it as your daily driver

Install LibreElec and transform your autistic Samsung TV to actually smart one.

Look up the Raspberry Pi Magazine: it has tons of projects.

We need pasta for this.

You can make something similar to Alexa that isn't based on any botnet. Snowboy (Partial botnet) will let you send them recordings of your wakeword and they'll send back a Neural Network model that you can run locally. caffe-speech-recognition with a 25 GB model lets you recognize speech quite easily.

usenet/torrent download station

Google Assistant or IoT

>File Sever
>DHCP server

buy a few sd cards so you can try different things and not have to start over.

1. retropie - game emulator - works with every emulator & arcade game up to N64. might want to buy a Wii u pro controller with that.

2. kodi box - install osmc & then ares prime.

3. just let your imagination run wild and build some robot stuff with simple python scripts.

>DHCP server
Is there any reason to do this if your router already supports it?

Install gentoo and shitpost on Sup Forums

Yes.
1. to just do it also you will have more granular control over DHCP with this with various options and such.
2. if you are becoming a networking nerd you diving into this will help deepen your understanding of networks.

vanilla firmware on routers sucks ass, anything is an improvement

haha I remember making that

i have 2 pi-B in retrofitted 1u chassis - one is print server/ UPS monitor/ FTP other is a webserver

Build your own black slave for summer.

dnsserver
archive for *chan
tornode
irc bouncer
openvpn
owncloud
feed-scraper

Install gentoo!

Not OP, have same problem.
A lot of these suggestions are things I can just run on a home server. Is there any low-cost project that makes use of the Pi's small form factor? I have a pi zero as well if there are any cool things I should make with that

use an old desktop usb cam as a home surveillance tool with the pi

Make a Tor relay.

Make a smart mirror
