Firefox always had the worst font rendering., They didn't use the OS services to render fonts and always did it themselves. That's why it looks like shit on all OSes. If you're used to mac or cleartype font rendering and you use Firefox, Firefox will stand out and look like shit to you.

Because I stopped using Linux shortly after I got a real job that earns me more than enough money to pay for good software and hardware - and because I'm a 35 year old man who doesn't want to spend all his time using and maintaining what's essentially hobbyist level software that might or might not work. I need my shit to be reliable, easy to maintain, and able to sync my calendar, notes, photos, music, bookmarks, etc. with my phone over wifi. Linux is bad in regards to ALL of those. I can't at least. Even just web browsing isn't as smooth oh linux. With so many of my desktop "programs" being electron wrappers it's really noticable how shit chrome feels on every single distro.
I also lose quake champions, d3, WoW, and the two AAA games I'm playing at the moment. To be fair I haven't played any games in about two weeks but still.
I use gyazo to send screenshot clips many times a day because I spend a ton of time messaging people on discord and gyazo barely works on linux.
Pretty often I kill time in visual studio and I'd loose that.
Can I even control my GPU clocks, case fan profiles(there are 7 of them), case lighting and my desks ambient lighting(runs off mobo's rgb header) from linux?
It just seems totally unreasonable to use it.
