Shelled out for amazon day and got an echo
Anyone have experience with it and enjoy your experience?
Anything good to do with it?

Jeff Bezos is listening to you masturbate.

Have it record everything you say even when you're not talking to it, good job falling for the meme OP paying to have the botnet in your home

well done, you got yourself a fancy looking cylinder with holes in it that tells the time and the weather.

good goy. don't forget to litter your home with webcams set to default passwords and nat them in through your router

i have nothing to hide

why do you have locks on your doors then

ahahahahaha enjoy being recorded and having your conversations analyzed for some AI database

so people don't steal my physical stuff and beat me up

Kill yourself.

can you mod her voice to Miku?

>literally buying a botnet
you're just like those fags that actually pay for windows

I can't believe you fell for that. Why would you buy a device that is turned on and uploading audio to amazon servers even when you're not using it?

OP, you just got memed so hard

HOLY FUCK ARE YOU DELUSIONAL

>this stupid analogy when communists argue against analytics
amazon isn't stealing my my information they're just looking at it and using it to optimize their search and recommendation algorithms

google isn't stealing my emails either, same reasoning

same tinfoil arguments can be used for hurr only idiots buy cell phones, the govt is listening

Whats the worst amazon is gonna do?
Organize a list of things I might want?
Hear me masturbating?
Oh no how horrible boo hoo

>google isn't spying on me they're just recording everything I do to sell me things better
I bet you use windows like a good goy

you know, there used to be a time when you would be laughed out of the room for posting your personal information on the internet

you implied that they were going to steal my information with your "argument" about locking my doors

I'm not browsing tor and jerking it to kiddy porn

Why take excess unnecessary precautions for absolutely no reason

If daddy microsoft wants to watch me jerk it and play video games all day long and show me ads for cactus cooler go ahead

If mommy amazon wants to listen to me type all day long go ahead

I don't know about freaks like you but I lock my doors for my own privacy
just like I lock my phone and lock my car
>inb4 the government spies on you too
government surveilance is impossible to avoid, corporate surveilance is easy
I call it "the privacy of my home" for a reason, because only me knows what's going on there
I can't believe you're so stupid to think that it's perfectly fucking fine to just let them collect data on you

>I don't know about freaks like you but I lock my doors for my own privacy
I lock my doors like all other burgers that live in a large city

Theres a difference between someone going in my home or car vs an algorithm collecting millions of people's data for shopping advice and online ID cards

Its the age of technology and you're still living like a neanderthal for arbitrary reasons

personally, i don't like my information, emails, and passwords in more databases than necessary. when they get hacked or broken into, it's a hassle. do you trust the locks on their safes? especially when hackers everywhere are trying to get into them for that goldmine of information?

There's a burglary around my burger campus every week because apparently no fuckwitted college students lock their doors. I had a room mate literally from Africa, where bald people get scalped for shamanistic rituals, and he often didn't even CLOSE the front door. I'm from a gated community, and I even keep my bedroom door locked.

Must be because I'm a Sup Forumsoblin who clops, but I sense a wide gulf in security consciousness.

>i have nothing to hide

Post your mail account and password for it
Post your address
Post where you work and how much money you make

>has nothing to say
>doesn't need free speech

>Having daddy windows and amazon have the potential to know things vs posting it online on a chinese anime forum
EM: [email protected]
PW: stupid

So you do have things to hide.
Would you like google and amazon to know when you're ill? They could sell that data to your health insurance...
And would you like big companies to have access to a camera in your bathroom/closet? "Amazon Echo show" and Kinect both exist.

Remember to sage, report, hide.

>get dot for free
>has decent microusb cable and brick
>sell dot for $20 to my dad so he can have a 3rd one
